"Nick and the Dry Otter crew do fantastic work. Everything from beginning to end was top notch. The estimate was true, the work was done well and on time, and the result of the project is perfect. I live on the East Side of Madison and have had water seeping into my basement for years now. Dry Otter trenched all the way around my basement and installed a sump pump. I've been thinking of doing this project for years and met with all of the local companies that do this, and I'm very glad that I picked Dry Otter for the project. I was definitely nervous about possibly having to rip out the existing basement stairs as part of the job, but these guys were able to preserve the existing stairs which saved me from a huge additional cost. I'd recommend anyone to strongly consider this company for a sump pump installation. They answered all of my questions after the job and even sent someone after the project was done to tighten a nut on the water meter that was slowly leaking. Now I'm turning half of my basement into a chill out zone for the kids and keeping the other half as a utility basement. Our house just became way better. Probably the best thing I can say about this crew is that they are honest business people that stand by their work. Expect a job done well, on time, and at a reasonable price."

"These guys did a fantastic job. We had some significant sinking on our driveway and were listing the house for sale. They came out and fixed everything up marvelously. I could not believe how smooth the driveway was when they finished. Would absolutely work with them again."

"Lee's team of insulation specialists did a phenomenal job of spray foam insulating a very, very small crawl space in our home (as well as some boxsills). We have had several construction professionals in our home recently, as we are considering a major renovation to our house, and they have all commented on how well done the job is, and how amazed they are that insulation specialists were able to access such a small space. The team arrived on time, did their work quickly, and the administrative team was very communicative, personable, and kind. We'd highly recommend Duerst to others!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Brooklyn, WI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
