"We were in the unfortunate position of needing to replace two HVAC units in our home at the same time. We learned that our son is sensitive to mold and found that our existing units, which were 15 years old, had mold in the plenum. We reached out to five local A/C businesses in efforts to find a person or company we felt comfortable with who would install two new, trustworthy HVACs with a filtration system to combat mold. "They sent tag team to convince me I had sewage flooding underneath my house requiring $2k of work. I watched closely and crawled in hole they dug myself. There was no flooding nor sewage backed up. I had to pay half up front and refused to pay second half. They finally agreed with my analysis but I still haven't been reimbursed at least partially. I will never do business with them again for any type repairs."
