"We've used Complete Lawn Services for years.  They make appointments...they show up!   They call ahead for days of service and are on time!!   Prices are competitive and very fair.  The work is done quickly and at the cost estimated.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  They are excellent in every way.  Once they recommended someone who could do a particular service  cheaper...it was a service they could perform, but since they didn't do it often, another company could do it cheaper...Wow!  They are the first ones I call! <br />"

"They showed up on time. They called ahead of time. We live out in a country and out here, it is really hard to get someone who actually shows up. We would be lucky if we get someone that will show up or come by. They called and followed up and all of that, so it is pretty very good and they did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do and they did it within the cost. I am happy with them as far as tree service. They wanted to do some landscape work for me but they are not really landscape people that I could see but debating I might do that too but the tree service they did excellent. I would use them again in future when needed."

"They did very well. I stopped using them because I started taking care of the yard myself. There were some instances where they put chemicals on the lawn to kill the weeds and bugs. He sprayed too far on my flower area and it killed that whole area. He wasn't watching what he was doing and killed a whole semi-circle area. The price was okay."

"Mr. Garner came out and meet with me and my wife to find out what we wanted done. A few days later he called us and set up a time to present his design to us. It was beyond our expectations. The time he spent just measuring out the yard to design it properly showed in that design as well. Once we agreed on a price we signed a contract and he scheduled a start date. The first day was kind of rough getting all the materials there but they all arrived in an organized manner so everything wasn't sitting on the street or in our drive way. He then started delegating work to be done to his laborers and they actually finished 2 days ahead of what Mr. Garner told us it would take."

The sprinkler system cost is determined by the size of the lawn and not the size of the house. Many large houses sit on top of very small lots with very little landscaping. Now a sprinkler system should be designed based on your current water needs for the type of lawn and plants that you need to water.\n\nThe price variation that you may be experiencing is usually due to cutting corners or simply putting up sprinkler heads and having rotors water large areas over sidewalks. Many cut corners by watering turf (grass) and landscape beds. This is not usually recommended as different plants have different water requirements. Many of this practices are outright illegal and any responsible homeowner should not consider this type of installation.\n\n1. Size of the Area Needing Water - More Landscaping will require more stations. The more sprinkler stations needed, the more valves required, the larger the controller need for the installation. Of course, square footage will determine the amount of pipe needed and the amount of digging involved.\n\n2. Water Pressure - Low water pressure results in the need for more sprinkler stations.\n\n3. Location and Accessibility of the Water Meter - Not a big factor for most homes. However, occasionally you run into a situation where the water meter is surrounded by lots and lots of concrete floor. There are only two options to reach the water meter. The first option is to dig. The second option is to demolish the concreted area. Again, this is very rare in a residential sprinkler installation.\n\nWhen investing in a sprinkler system, it is usually best to find a irrigator that follows local laws and best installation practice for the industry. The prices may not be the cheapest but you will usually experience less headaches in the life of the sprinkler system.

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Brownfield, TX

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
