"Jason and Erica were not only hard working but also flexible - adapting to the actual issues that pop up as you try to repair a 20+ year old system that are not obvious until you start troubleshooting."

"Larry came and looked at the problem, and was very knowledgeable. He is prompt and has an eye for what might be wrong with the sprinkler system. I thought I had a broken sprinkler pipe, but in fact it turns out it might only be a valve that needs to be fixed. He has saved me quite a lot of money. He charges $45 for coming out to check the problem and he is up front with his charges."

"Cruz did our entire back yard (patio, rock fountain, sod, rocks, trees, shrubs, lawn curbing) and I couldnâ t be happier with his work. He was there on time every day he said he would be and got the whole yard done in less than 6 total days. Him and his crew were very respectful of my property and time, and helpful with tips or feedback when I needed it. He is a stand up guy who you can tell really cares about what YOU want for your home. No brainer, go with Cruzin Landscape for all your landscaping needs."

"They arrived approx as scheduled: were unable to repair the dripping faucet(suggested I replace it); determined that the replacement garbage disposal I had purchased was too large for the space and should be replaced with the same model as the old one and that there was already a water line for a refrigerator. I went out and bought the specified garbage disposal and they returned later in the day to replace it. They told me what water line to buy for the refrigerator but did not hook it up."

"I had an irrigation problem with my sprinklers for about six weeks. I call 5 different companies but none of them were able to find out what the problem was with the sprinklers. One company wanted to charge me three times more than the average price. I finally call Jerry from “Rodrigues Landscape and concrete” he assured me that he was going fix my sprinkler system and so he did, it wasn’t easy but he did it, yea! The amount of money he charge me was very reasonable, much less then other companies. Great job Jerry."

"I own a house in Rocklin and hired John to make a safe and maintenance free yard for my relatives/tenants who live there, including 5 little kids.  John was absolutely wonderful to work with.  His work was on time and on budget and of the highest quality.  He is a exceptionally pleasant person and brought ideas and an open mind to our initial planning meeting, then kept me informed at each phase of the project with progress reports and suggestions to keep our costs on target.  He understood our
objectives of creating a safe play space, making choices and repairs to ensure durability, enhancing privacy, and creating the least maintenance needs possible.  What a great job he did!  We got exactly what we wanted.  I would not hesitate for a second to recommend John and his crew.

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Browns Valley, CA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
