"In March 2011, a rock pad was laid as a foundation for our large garage being delivered.  Excellent work performed.  As a result of the impressive, professional job done, we had Rock a Fellas redo our deck in July, 2011.  A re-decking took place with Timbertech decking materials with radiance rails.  This was not an easy job, but Rock was very helpful in offering important advice and opinions on where to select materials etc.  He also took care of ordering the dumpster to haul away debris, a detail which can be overlooked by an overwhelmed customer.  He also rectified any concerns/issues with a prompt, professional manner which ultimately led to our great satisfaction when job was completed.

"We signed a contract with  Pittsburgh Exteriors in February 2013 to replace the shingles, ridge vents and a few rotted sheets of plywood.  It was understood that work could not begin until spring.   6 months later and numerous calls we still didn't have a roof.  It wasn't until we called to cancel and request the return of our deposit did Pittsburgh Exteriors arrive and do the work.
The roof leaked during the first rain.  We called and someone came the next day.  He informed us that the contractor remodeling the bathroom moved or bumped the exhaust vent which caused the leak.  Two days later it rained and the roof leaked again in the same spot .  What  exactly did this guy do when he was on the roof ???
The contractor remodeling the bathroom went up on the roof and said the vent was not sealed correctly and the 'splash ring'  needed fixed. I had the bathroom contractor fix everything.  I then asked the bathroom contractor to look at other parts of the roof.  He said installation of the new ridge vents was not  that good but probably would not leak. 
Next day it's raining again.  Bathroom contractor comes to work on the bathroom and says the rain gutter isn't catching the water from the roof.  I call Pittsburgh Exteriors and ask them to come fix the gutter.  The person I talked to indicated no one was in the area to come fix it.  He said its probably just a joint in the gutter leaking and I could fix it myself !   So, I again asked the bathroom contractor to please look at the gutter.  He said the gutter was not attached and  the water was running between the edge of the roof and the gutter.  The bathroom contractor once again repaired an item  Pittsburgh Exteriors should never have let happen in the first place.

"Everything went well. Gary and his crew were great! They all treated me with respect and worked very hard. We're extremely happy with the deck. There are a few rough spots that I would've liked to get fixed, but what was done had to be done I guess. The only real problem I had, was the owner. I messaged him to see if the cosmetic repairs could be fixed. He bypassed everything I told him and made an excuse for the decks cosmetics. And questioned why I was calling 2 weeks later and complaining. Well we don't sit there 24/7. And of course sitting there, you notice little things that are imperfect. Yes, I did agree when I t was completed, to do an inspection myself, but again, you notice more, when you are actually sitting there. He did however, agree to fix what was wrong. However, I never received a warranty nor a written guarantee, for a $16,000 deck. If we need construction again, I would recommend asking for Gary and his crew, to do the job!! !"
