John was faced with challenges with the fence post removal in that they were imbedded in rather large amounts of concrete that required extra efforts (steel pry bars and winch) to remove from the ground. John disposed of the fence posts and concrete remains as well. John also removed, replaced and disposed of twelve 2x10x48" pressure treated steps. Many of the steps required special handling and additional bracing installed due to the age and condition of the existing stair stringers. After the initial installation, John was asked to re-look at a couple of the stair treads, and he returned very promptly to return and make adjustments without complaint. John also removed the remnants of two 2x8' very old (and brittle) overhead semi-transparent panels over the rear deck. He replaced with new customer-provided polycarbonate panels of the same dimensions and hauled away the old remains. He also removed and disposed of several unwanted saplings that were growing at random and completed a major trim on an overgrown euonymus bush/tree to prevent damage to house siding and allow adequate airflow to an outside air-conditioning unit."

She also followed up on time and was super easy to work with once we decided on specific doors. Installation also was on time, efficient and went very smoothly. We had one issue that arose b/c of the age of our house and Stoneberger addressed it quickly and beyond fairly. Highly recommend them."

"This project required the installation of a new through-the-wall air conditioner/heating unit. The installer was knowledgeable, thorough, and his prices were competitive. In addition to completing the installation, the installer also offered important maintenance advise that will prolong the life of my new unit. "The TVs and Surround Sound systems were properly installed, so the job was completed as requested. The Good: David and the crew were very punctual and hard working. They spent the whole day working on the project and everything was working when they left. They even made arrangements to come out on a Saturday (at no additional charge) to accommodate my schedule. The Bad: The attention to detail was lacking. For just over $1500 to install 2 TVs and surround-sound speakers, I would have expected everything to be pretty flawless. Small items like sloppy drywall patching (I had to sand and skim coat all of the patches), dirty hand prints on the newly painted walls, and one of the TV's being about .25" out of level took away from the overall satisfaction with the project. I also felt that they could have been more creative with routing the power cord and Coax for the fireplace - the racetrack conduit did not look good, and ultimately, my wife and I came up with a way to run the cables behind the hollow brick that looked much better. In summary, the work was average, but for the price, I would have appreciated a little better finished product with less work on my behalf."

"Overall it went well. I was given an 11-1 window but the movers didn't arrive until 3. Once there, the three gentlemen worked efficiently. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend that the company invest in a newer truck and power tools for the movers. For that price, the need a great job. Moved a two bedroom apartment into a three bedroom home in just over 3 hours.

"Our bathroom was ugly 'smoker's teeth' yellow with black trim, now everything is a dazzling white and matches the tub. I don't know how they got the tub looking so nice. It looks like a brand new bathroom for 1/2 what it would have cost to do a complete renovation; it also (if you add actual dates worked on site) took less time than a complete reno.
Overall a very good experience. We did have some minor (reasonable) small snafus. We had scheduling issues and had to reschedule the work a few times, and they had to reschedule 1-2 days accordingly. The threshhold was also set a little high and there were some minor tile touch ups that needed to be done which were a pain to get scheduled. Also had a small mix up where I didn't get the bill at first due to some questions and their online bill system. It's a family owned business and the owner was very courteous about working with us and resolving the paperwork snafu.
Everyone was extremely courteous and clean. We're thinking of doing this in our other bathroom.
Only other comments is the process does have a faint 'nail polish' smell, so had to open all the windows. It didn't bother my asthma, but I didn't like the smell and got a mild headache one time. And we nearly had a disaster when the cat got near the drying glaze.
