"We hired About Floors n' More in Jacksonville, Florida to remove our tile and carpet and install LVP throughout our condo. We were unhappy with a number of things including but not limited to their contractor damaging the drywall to the point much wider baseboards had to be installed to cover the damage throughout the entire unit. One of our contractors pulled back the flooring and told us there was a vapor barrier but no sound barrier as required by our HOA, requested by us, and on our invoice, and then most annoying, this sound is throughout the condo and very loud even when walking in socks "quietly". We've been told by other contractors it was likely because the floors were not properly swept and prepped ahead of time. We have photos showing chunks of debris all around the cabinets that should have been swept up. We complained to About Floors n More and did not pay them the remainder. Their response was to file a lawsuit (we've already paid them close to 50%). We will let a judge decide if what is in this video as well as our extensive photos are acceptable or not but we wanted other consumers considering them to know that they believe this is acceptable and instead of working to remedy it, sued us to pay them for work we don't believe was done correctly nor fully. "First of all, the office staff (Alexis and Savannah) were very helpful and extremely patient with all of my questions. The scheduling and payment process was easy; the email reminders were very helpful. The technician, Nick, was ahead of schedule and called to see if he could come early or did we want to keep the original scheduled time. He was not at all pushy about coming early and wanted to do what worked best for us, which we appreciated. Once he arrived, he confirmed the work scope, explained the process, answered our questions and then got right to work. Our area rugs turned out beautiful! The cleaning process was straight-forward and dry time was great! The rugs were not that old, but one had a "pet accident" and needed professional care (pic shows pet stain GONE). Once dry, they felt and smelled like we had just bought them.....Clean and fluffy with no residue! We have two dogs that walk/lounge on the carpets so the "no residue" aspect is/was very important to us! Feeling comfortable with the Zerorez company and their cleaning process, we decided to have Nick take two additional area rugs to their offsite location for a good deep cleaning, as they are quite a bit older and in need of more thorough care. I'll update their status once we receive them back. We will definitely use Zerorez again and highly recommend them for rug cleaning. They were professional from start to finish and did what was agreed to at a reasonable cost."

"Merrell was a very nice guy who came off as able to do just about anything. After we signed a contract and the work started, first payment made, we started to notice he had bought material far in excess of what was needed (insulation, tile pieces, sealant). Additionally, he was very wasteful with buckets of mortar. He also rushed work as in trying to seal grout before it had fully cured. In regards to his wood work, I am looking at a fireplace mantel with several uneven cuts. He never completed the framing in of the bathroom window so will need to hire someone else to do that. He had us schedule the shower glass people prior to his completion so they were unable to measure and had to come back another day. Most days he worked 4 hours or less, so lots of disruptions. Help from the homeowner was needed on several occasions, though he didn't ask for it but he was getting bogged down. In the roughly 100 hours he spent on the projects, there was a lot of down time. His crew was working on another project that seemed to be a distraction for him. Overall, the projects are now left unfinished and looking for another contractor to reliably complete them."
