"1. Called and stated my issue/concern very clearly stated I need the issue diagnosed and me to be INFORMED of any work performed PRIOR to it being done and invoiced. 2. Day one - MIKE came to assess and could not get in my crawlspace because he said he could not fit. Meanwhile the issue persists 3. Days later - MIKE and another plumber came out. Funny how MIKE was able to get in the crawlspace with him that day. They were down there over an HOUR. The goal was to figure where the leak was coming from and go about the best way to handle it. 4. MIKE was asked by the city plumbing inspector to put 4 tiny screws in my new water heater pipe to pass inspection (installed by another company) - MIKE made the choice to do it and it was done. 5. MIKE and the other plumber went into my bathroom and fiddled around. I heard every word that was spoken though MIKE thought he was whispering. He told the other plumber just get the silicon and seal the drain and put this MF'er back in there. He came out with his invoice saying they had stopped the drainage from the tub by sealing the drain as well as the pipe in the crawlspace with silicone caulk. I 6. i was charge a total of $377. Over 200 in labor and 89 for a trip charge, taxes and oh an $18 merchant fee for running the charge on my credit card. He also told me when I asked if this was a good solution that yes, it was, but that if my tub started leaking in the next 90 days, to call them and they would come out to do the work but it would be near $1,000 more? I was confused and I expressed my confusion because I must have missed the part where he had given me my options to either REPAIR or REPLACE - rather than putting a patch on it and giving me an invoice for it. 7. I called to get clarification the next day and was told the manger would call me bk. Which he did later on. I tried to ask clarifying questions about why I was charge for so much what is basically a band-aid that has no addressed the issues. The manager was off-putting and cut me off with every thing I tried to say. He felt the charges were appropriate and told me that plumbing work "isn't free". Duh, do you think I do not KNOW? But who wants to be charged for something they know will not address the issue? His tone was off-putting and he had an excuse for every concern I brought up. No concern at all! 8. Leading me to my final point. I called another plumbing company to take a look and find out what I had been smelling in my vents. They sent someone from HVAC first then a plumber (SAME DAY), Night and day difference with the other company from the service to the communication! They took pictures and I mean took pictures of all pipes not just one. I had puddles on top of my vapor barrier causing the smell. It was from my toilet and, you guessed it MY TUB. FRESH leakage from both which NCM said did not exist after they were done. 9. I called today, and obviously the NCM is not answering my calls purposely. 10. I have plans to take them to small claims court and get my money back. Period Takeaway - DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLES!"
