"We hired SZ Home Construction to repair the exterior of our Tudor home. They were professional, reasonable, and reliable. We were very happy with their work. They were the 4th contractor we had look at the job and they came when they said they would and did fantastic work. We would definitely use them again"

"Tom is more than a carpenter, more than just a handy man, a plumber, an electrician. He is a skilled craftsman, talented, reliable and generous with good advice. Over the past two years Tom has demonstrated his talents by helping improve my beautiful but somewhat outdated home. He has done everything from designing and building a new dressing room closet, to repairing and replacing light fixtures, and he is currently laying a new bathroom floor. He has even put my gas grill together! Lucky I was the day he responded to my Home Advisor call."

Hello, I've noticed how difficult and frustrating it can be to hire someone to do a project, only to have them not follow it through to completion, or to just not show up at all, or to pass the blame of their mistakes to someone else. I started Wirth & Son Property Services because of all the incompetence and poor communication I've seen with service providers. I'll show up, do what I say I'm going to do, and keep communicating with you. Over the last several decades, I've completed a wide variety of home improvement projects, from footing to ridge, and everything in between. Whether you need something as small as a picture hung to something more complex, like a custom, site-built shed, I'll show up, competently complete the project, and communicate along the way. \n\nSome of the things I have experience in include: wasp removal, custom shed & chicken coops, curtain rod hanging, deck/porch repair, gutter cleaning, siding repair, drywall repair, assembly, fench repair, dryer vent cleaning

"The staircase in our home had separated from the wall and the support under the stairs had been compromised. Jim was able to not only provide updated support to the staircase, he was also able to reposition the stairs to their original position. The stairs are now even more secure, while still looking completely original to the house. In addition, he repaired a broken railing.
All this work, which included having to go through a plaster wall, was cleaned up perfectly. I was extremley happy with the results and will definitely be using Jim again in the future.

"He arrived right on time and got right to work. He came prepared for all types of repairs as his truck is designed to carry EVERYTHNG. He is a very personable guy. He seems to know how to do a wide variety of jobs--handy man, indeed! Upon completion, he showed me what he had done and checked to make sure we were pleased with it. We were. Best of all, he is right down the road in Colden. It was a nice change having someone who lives close by. We usually have to ask people if they come to our area.

"We love our cabinets! They look fantastic while remaining affordable. The friendly staff at AWD helped us from start to finish. They are very knowledgeable and gave us advice and tips when needed. They were receptive and patient with our ever-changing needs. Once we finalized our purchase, we received our cabinets within two weeks! The cabinets are very sturdy and the color is beautiful. The hinges and hardware are high quality. We are extremely pleased with AWD and would recommend them to any friends or family looking for good cabinets at a fair price."

"T. J. built and installed two custom cabinets for our closet. The closet was under a sloped roof and had a wierd configuration. He made everything fit and grossly exceeded our expectations. His quality of work was outstanding and well worth the reasonable price that we were charged."

"Did a good job with the repairs to roof. Very affordable. Will consider them for future projects."
