"We selected G and G after reviewing bids from other contractors and checking references. In both projects, kitchen and bathroom, G and G was very flexible with our meeting times and dates, timely with the layout revisions and adjustments, and responsive to questions. G and G’s recommended vendors for materials such as flooring, cabinets and granite were top notch but not overly costly. It is always hard to live without a kitchen or bathroom and Frank and the crew were focused on getting it done but getting it done RIGHT. Our Kitchen project – 2007 – took approximately 4 months, required the removal of a wall, moving the placement of the refrigerator, stove and dishwasher, and redoing all of the lighting to consist of recessed cans and pendants. We selected cherry cabinets, black granite, glass backsplash, and installed a VERY large island that seats 3 to 6 with a large workspace. The granite seating area needed reinforcing underneath and Frank worked with us to ensure it looked inconspicuous. Frank even designed ‘cubbies’ with electrical access for phone and tablet charging and storage. When you look at the cubbies you cannot see the charging cords or the devices! Finally, Frank designed a special storage location in the island for a wooden stool. I’m sure G and G would tell you we were ‘particular’ clients but the team accommodated all of our unique choices and needs. Our bathroom project – 2012 – took approximately 3 months and required removal of a jet tub, installation of a heated tile floor, installation of a VERY large shower with dual shower heads, floor to ceiling glass tile pillars and glass enclosure, and a free standing elliptical shaped tub with a tub filler. G and G was adaptable and flexible to all of our changes and unique requests such as electrical outlets under the sink to hide the electric toothbrushes. G and G also updated a second bathroom with new cabinets and counter top. We are very happy with G and G's craftsmanship and service . The crew was timely, polite and clean. We knew where they were in each stage of the projects and if there were delays, we were aware of the issue immediately (i.e. back order of tub filler, special design needs due the granite configuration). Frank is in constant communication with the crew and you, visits the site and follows up on the final ‘punch list’. Great contractor!"

"Jakubek proved to be an honest and reliable contractor that performs quality work. They did a complete remodel of the first floor in my house that included 1) Gutting and a complete remodel of the kitchen, half bath and laundry rooms (3 full slabs of stone were used as counter tops and back splashes). 2) Installing 1,300 square feet of oak flooring (they used over 3,000 screws to secure the underlayment and eliminate squeaking). Their bid was a fair price and lower than many other contractors who quoted the project. The only cost adjustments were for unanticipated issues and changes I made to the original quote and the amounts were reasonable. Robert, David and their crew paid close attention to detail and performed the job as if they were working in their own homes. They were very flexible and adaptable when issues came up (such as unexpected pipes in the wall) and very helpful in offering suggestions and implementing solutions. Since I wanted to be closely involved in decisions, they included me in all appropriate areas, and I felt like I had input and was listened to. They cleaned up daily and took precautions to protect areas from damage. Once they started the project, they stayed on it, and I felt like I was their most important client. While they did do work on other projects, it never delayed my project and they always had someone on site keeping my project progressing. David coordinated all materials and subcontractors to ensure everything arrived on time. They used excellent subcontractors for the hardwood flooring and countertop installations and monitored their work to make sure the finished project was up to Jakubek high standards. David also made design suggestions and recommended suppliers that had high quality products and better pricing than others I considered using. Jakubek was the first contractor where I never had a dispute, where I felt the entire project was done properly and where I was highly satisfied with the finished project. Therefore, I would highly recommend Jakubek to friends. In fact, I have already recommended them to 4 good friends who saw my remodel and wanted the name of my contractor for projects they are planning. I was so happy with their performance and attention to detail that I asked them to come back and proactively replace my 18-year-old water heater and a failing sump pump. Their work was very professional and they were less expensive than other alternatives for replacing these items."

"Above & Beyond Construction lived up to their name yet again! The team was able to quickly help with our project of one complete bathroom gut renovation (tile, plumbing, custom built-ins, painting and installing all new fixtures) and an update to a half bath that included installing a custom vanity, new lighting, replacing the toilet and painting. We threw a lot of curveballs at them with our dated bathrooms, but they were able to incredibly work within two weeks to overhaul both bathrooms. Amazing! The team was very respectful of our family's safety with COVID precautions and minimized any concerns we might have had. I would 100% recommend using Above & Beyond for any projects, big or small. "I decided to turn my bathtub into a walk-in-shower and started doing research on the process and companies that provide that service. I had four different companies come out, and one I cancelled after reading their reviews, they were in the low 3s. I chose Premier Home Pros to do the work, I read their reviews and they were good. This is a new company to Michigan but most of the reviews I read were from Ohio. I got lucky enough to have Eric install the shower for me and I couldn’t be happier. Eric showed up on time and never stopped working. Eric worked on my home like it was his own home. He communicated with me what was going on and very neat. I am getting new flooring and told Eric that he didn’t have to put anything down because the carpet is going anyway, but he still did. I sure hope that Premier Home Pros realize how valuable Eric is to the company and how lucky they are to have him. Eric should train all the new employees, not only on the process, but on work"
