"I have lived in my home for over 23 years and have used several different Heating and Air companies thru the years... I needed service in Sept 2018 and had various coupon prices of $39 and $49 for an A/C tune up and was about to chose on of them but decided to check Angie's list for a review or google for the coupon companies. That is when I found American Family HVAC and started to read their reviews.. For some reason, I decided to use this company even tho the cost was a bit more money and boy am I ever happy that I went with my hunch. Sometimes it is NOT always about the money. I was really looking for an A/C furnace company that I could count on and use regularly. Not only was the repair gentleman that came out, on time and very thorough and professional but he spent a long time and I feel that I received the most thorough tune up that I have ever had. Josh, the service tech was just a delight and the best part was that this company has a membership contract that I was able to purchase. It is a small monthly charge monthly and . I get 2 free tune-ups a year included in the monthly fee for NO charge and if I need any service work I get 20% off of the charge and same day service...all for only $12.95 a month. What a wonderful idea and I cannot express how happy I am with this choice. It is a win-win deal for me and the company. I am a very happy camper with my choice of this company."

"In general J&S Plumbing is very responsive, they went out of their way to install a new water heater for us, in a tight space, within just a couple days of my first call. As for plumbing services, they mentioned that they do not charge extra for work in the evenings or on weekends, which many other companies do. The first power-vented water heater they put in had an issue with condensation drip-back, which caused the burner to have intermittent problems keeping the pilot light going. J&S was very professional and responsive to the problem. A month after the initial install, they ended up replacing with another brand new water heater, quickly and at no cost to us."

"I would highly recommend TDH mechanical to anybody. Their price was exceptional and their work was spectacular. I got bids from almost 10 contractors for a new boiler and hot water heater system for my house. TDH was the cheapest in the lot but that was not necessarily a good thing in my mind. The last boiler had been in place for a decade longer than I have been alive and I wanted to do the right thing with a trustworthy company with a system that would last. TDH discussed different options with me for weeks as I was indecisive and was extremely helpful at evaluating different systems. I finally chose a system and went for it. At this point I was pretty terrified. I had talked to references that he had given me and researched the company but I was about to spend well almost 15 grand and they were the cheapest of 10 companies by far and well... I was scared. The guys arrived exactly as scheduled and completed the work with a level of detail that exceeded my wildest imagination. In just a few days they removed 100 years of dysfunction from my house and did an absolutely spectacular job. There were a few minor issues as you would expect with a project like this and they returned promptly to take care of them. The sub contractors that they used for electrical and plumbing were top quality and every part of their service exceeded my expectations. The village inspectors were even more impressed with the installation than I was which is an excellent sign. Neither the plumbing nor HVAC inspector had a single negative comment about the installation. I highly recommend TDH and will definitely use them again for my future HVAC needs."

"We actually had called Emanuel Brothers first since their name was on the water heater. But, after the amount of time and money they quoted us I decided to check Angie's. We had John come out and take a look and he told us he could do the same work for almost $800.00 less! I can't say I didn't have some trepidation. First, just how is it possible to do so much less work than we were told would be necessary (we had 2 water heaters. Neither of which worked after nearly 20 years, that had to be removed first to make room). And, for so much less. Emanuel Brothers were so perplexed by our situation that they had to call the boss to come out and explain everything to us. But, John had this "no problem" kinda attitude. Both refreshing and disconcerting. But, in just a couple of hours he had not only delivered a new water heater, he had the other 2 removed and the new one installed. And its been working flawlessly.
