After hopping back and forth between solar and epoxy these last few years, it made me realize how much I love doing epoxy and concrete stains. After a bit of research, I realized there is an increased demand for epoxy and concrete services in my area. I decided to get my LLC and fill the void in the market. I service Colonial Beach, Westmoreland & King George, VA (and nearby areas). I have over a half a decade of experience in epoxy and concrete services, an OSHA 20 certification and am licensed and insured.

"It went well, Padro and his wife were very helpful in planning of our project, they both had good ideas to add to the project. Padro is very meticulous in his work and takes great pride in it as well. I would definitely have him come back and do any other projects that might come up. Anytime I had a call or concern Megan returned the phone call immediately."

"The special covered 500 square feet for $89. The driveway had two large cracks and a couple of smaller ones. Becky at All American contacted us almost immediately after we purchased the special and arranged a date to visit and measure/assess our driveway. Our driveway measured 1,814 square feet, so we needed to purchase additional coverage at $328. The total bill was $417. Although this price is a bit higher than some of the other driveway sealers that operate in our area, this company uses oil-based sealant which binds with the existing blacktop rather than just covering the top; this product is of higher quality; therefore, we expect it will last longer. Becky told us in advance that our cracks were large enough that the sealant would not render them invisible, and she was correct. You can still see the cracks;however, they are well sealed. Because the weather got quite cold and rainy right after the service, they had to come back a second time and add additional crack filler and sand--which they also did very promptly. We are pleased with the result. This is a local company. Becky has many years of experience, and the scheduling, customer service, and sealing operation are prompt and professional."

FAQs for concrete finishing, overlays & coloring application projects in Bushwood, MD

With proper care, a stained concrete floor easily lasts 20 years or more. Reapply sealer every two to four years to protect against moisture, scratches, and daily wear. Routine sweeping, occasional damp mopping, and prompt repairs keep the surface looking sharp and protect the slab underneath, preserving both function and resale value.

Stained concrete can crack if the slab is exposed to extreme moisture changes, heavy impacts, or settling. Small hairline cracks are mainly cosmetic, but deeper fractures can affect the finish. Inspect the floor regularly, address moisture issues quickly, and hire a pro for timely repairs. Staying on top of maintenance prevents minor flaws from developing into larger, more costly problems.

The longevity of a concrete stain depends on the product you choose. Acid-based options chemically bond with the slab and are essentially permanent. Water-based stains sit on the surface and can be lightened, darkened, or covered with a new color at a later time. Select the stain type that aligns with your long-term design plans and your willingness to reapply the stain in the future.

You can update the color by cleaning the slab, lightly etching it, and applying a new layer of stain. Re-staining bonds to the concrete and resists peeling far better than paint. For a dramatic shift—such as moving from a dark acid stain to a lighter tone—you may need to grind the surface first. A flooring pro can advise on the best approach for your specific floor.

Stained concrete combines longevity with a modern, custom look. The finish resists heavy foot traffic, moisture, and everyday wear, so upkeep is minimal—routine sweeping and an occasional damp mop are usually enough. Because the color is inside the concrete, it won’t peel or flake like paint. Homebuyers also appreciate its sleek aesthetic and low maintenance, which can add a slight boost to your property's resale value.
