We have had an extremely difficult leaking issue with our roof, which multiple companies have attempted to fix. When the leak came back during Portland's sudden monsoon rains, Jon dropped everything and came out to do a quick patch. When that didn't work, he came back two days later with a co-worker, on zero lead, to find the leaks and do a full reshingling. The two cheerily worked into the early dark to fix the roof that day. His rates are by far the best we've seen, and he's just naturally a gregarious guy and an obvious good person who will do whatever it takes for his customers. That's the kind of contractor I want on my side and I cannot recommend him enough."

Alywin's Crews were on time and cleaned up as they went, provided protection for our plantings, and did a complete sweep for nails and other debris when finished. My family is looking forward to having Aylwin do a full replacement this year or next with a full Tesla Roof. I was completely surprised to read the recent review regarding the quality of work done by Aylwin Construction at a local condominium. "The good experience with Raindrop started with the estimate; Lee was knowedgeable and up front with me about the need to fix my chimney before they could do the roof work; neither of the other roofing contractors had mentioned that. When I accepted their bid, but the work couldn't start for over a month, they held the original price even though the cost of materials had just gone up. When they came to do the work, they were courteous and always willing to answer any questions I had about the process. And Ryan, the owner, is a real sweetheart; he came by at the end to check and make sure I was satisfied, which I definitely was. I've already recommended them privately to 2 friends who are ready to redo their own roofs."

The work crew leader, Angel, was absolutely brilliant in problem solving throughout the process. His crew were each very experienced, working independently and in teams to get the job done right and on schedule. I had requested several deviations from a simple reroofing – installation of a solar fan and rodent screening under the venting – and this team made these modifications in an efficient and thorough manner. Angel’s forward-thinking came even more into focus near the end when he asked if I would like them to leave the anchors in place on the steep portions of our roof so that the solar installers would not need to install their own next month.
