"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"Paul was great.  My wife and I did a remodel and addition to our new house, which included gutting the kitchen and the addition of a new master bedroom and bathroom.  Of all the contractors with whom we dealt, Paul was our favorite.  He was punctual.  He was efficient.  He did what he said he would do.  He did not attempt to nickel and dime us.  From the beginning, he provided us with immediate quotes for his work.  Our house was in Orange County, yet he travelled several times to our house to meet with us before we even signed a contract.  Once we signed the contract, he willingly offered to include a few extra items at cost with no labor.  The quality of his work was great.  Once we moved into the house, we had a few minor problems with the kitchen cabinets, so Paul willingly returned to fix them at no cost.  Likewise, the countertop installer damaged a few corbels that Paul had installed, so Paul willingly replaced them at no cost.

"I desperately needed some extra storage space, so I commissioned Blue Ribbon Woodcraft to build some custom cabinetry/closet space for my craftsman bungalow.  I wanted the cabinets to look original to the 1912 structure.  After taking measurements and listening to the description of what I wanted, Werner emailed me a scaled sketch of the proposed design.  He was very helpful in offering suggestions for the design and configuration of the cabinets.  After that he did the initial cutting and construction in his studio, then installed the cabinet interior on site, followed by a couple more visits to install the doors and complete the fine finish carpentry and touch ups.  The house is old and has no straight lines, so I am sure there were a number of challenges with installation.  As for the end product - I could not be happier, the cabinets are absolutely gorgeous and have provided me with greatly increased storage room (form & function!).  I am amazed at how well they match existing original wood trim and built-ins.  Highly recommended !!
