"?? Honest review of Ohio Basement Authority ?? We hired Ohio Basement Authority to fix issues in our basement, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Not only did they fail to fix the original problem, but after the work was done, the problem became worse. We trusted them to improve our home and instead were left with more stress, more concerns, and unresolved issues. We expected professional service and lasting results, but that was not our experience. I?m sharing this so others do their research before hiring. We just wanted our basement fixed, not made worse."

"We had a turtle door installed today. The service technician ,Cody Miles, was outstanding -in knowledge, work ethic and how well the task was completed. I was very fortunate to have him as a technician. Dennis (did not get his last name) the service manager was present also and was very professional, I was lucky there also. THANKS"

"We received three quotes for our patio lift. Two companies told us the patio was beyond repair. The Basement Doctor salesman strongly disagreed and was extremely confident their proprietary process/technology would fix the problem. Unfortunately, the work resulted in two new large cracks, and the patio still could not be lifted to level ground due to the risk of additional cracking. While the technician was polite and apologetic, the outcome was nowhere near the expectation or the description provided by the salesman. Sharing this as a caution for anyone considering similar work."

"Jaco did a great job on leveling our front sidewalk leading up to the porch. They also repaired a crack in our foundation. We were very happy with the results on both jobs. After the initial call they promptly sent someone out to give an estimate and the work was done quickly. Their pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely use them in the future if the need arises. "

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in California, KY

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
