"In April 2019 we contacted Design Doctors about remodeling our small (10X10-foot) kitchen area, a project driven by the need to replace our 40 year old JennAir downdraft range. Over the previous 2 years we had received quotes from 6 other contractors, each of whom wanted us to use their predetermined design rather than listening to what we desired. Design Doctors listened. They were also the only contractor to discuss the need to remove and replace all of the sheetrock and flooring – actions that disclosed pending problems with flooring and electrical wiring. Justin Ross provided 4 design options and accompanied us on vendor visits to select products. DD employees its own workmen so no delays with subcontractors. Marcus kept us continuously advised of scheduled work and made sure it was completed properly and timely. His workmen were at the house nearly everyday throughout the 8-week project. They kept the work areas confined and swept and cleaned at the end of every work day. Design Doctors presented us with a notebook of information and instructions on every product and submitted the warranties for us. We have worked with over 10 great contractors during the past 30 years, but none have provide the personal approach, thoroughness and attention to detail of Design Doctors."

"The project took twice as long as expected but this was due to some issues the contractor faced with one of his employees getting in an accident and his project manager leaving the company. The work completed by Anatoli his master carpenter and Rocky his mason was very well done and completed on schedule but the work on the back wall we found out after completion that some of the work was not done to code according to some other contractors that were looking at performing some roofing work to fix the problem that caused the back wall to need replacement. Their pricing is very reasonable and fair but be aware if the project has code building requirements & complexities it is best to make sure that all code requirements are being followed; ultimately you get what you pay for. They were very quick to respond to any questions, came out immediately to provide a quote, the project started quickly as well.

"I purchased a large pedestal sink when Covid hit and discovered the plumbing needed work before I could install it. I called Henco plumbing and Joe came out and explained what they would need to do to install my new Pedestal sink, he answered my questions and concerns and gave me a quote for the job. Adrian came out today and reworked the 1935 plumbing and installed the new sink. He did an awesome job. The plumbing work is perfect and hidden behind the pedestal. The caulking work was excellent. I am very pleased and impressed with Henco Plumbing. I would use them again."

Ben gave me the information I needed to make the necessary decisions regarding my failing toilet, new toilet options and pricing...as well as considerations about replacing or not replacing the defunct disposal that greeted me as I moved in my new place. He did an excellent job with installation too! It was more expensive than expected, but so were the other repairs I have done this week, lol! I will always ask for Ben, and I hope he'll replace my next toilet in a few months."
