"Scheduling happened very fast which was appreciated. I called on Friday and the work was complete on Monday afternoon! Steve at Morro Bay Cabinets and I traded emails with pictures and dimensions so the work was clear before arrival. His original fixed bid was for 3-4 hours of work. I opted for the T and M bid, which was the right choice. The $75 trip charge seemed high, but their truck had all the supplies needed. <br /> Mark arrived on Monday after lunch and he was here for a few hours. He kept me in the loop as the work proceeded as there were some decision to make during the job. The cabinet alignment was not and quot;perfect,and quot; but the original plywood cabinets show some warping and, as I look around at all the cabinets, none of them are perfect anymore. After oiling a few scratches on the outside surface and painting underneath, it looks just fine. Mark also did a short repair on another cabinet door which was appreciated. <br /> <br />"

"I went to Thomas for a cabinet bed. I was initially looking online at Murphy and Cabinet Beds but the reviews were all over the place in terms of quality of product. The online prices weren't that great considering how bad many of the reviews were on these products. I then decided to just look up cabinet and Murphy beds in SLO County. This was a great decision because I got great service locally with Thomas. I ended up purchasing a cabinet bed instead of a Murphy bed, mainly because of cost. The cabinet bed is very good looking and extremely solid. I am pleased with the quality so far. I've slept on it for about 4 days and it was very comfortable. I am buying a mattress topper too just to add to the comfort. It is easy to pull out and put back up. I love that. The bed serves a purpose now in our studio but I can see having it forever in a guest area of the house. When it is not in use it looks like a nice cabinet or console. Thomas was great, he showed me the different options and I got to lay down and try out the bed. He also came out to my place and delivered it, we brought it in on a dolly and assembled it. The assembly went very well with him there. He definitely knows the ins and outs of the product. He made it easy and he took all the trash with him. He was very pleasant and I'd recommend buying locally and purchasing with Thomas."

"Sligh Cabinets put our cabinets in when we built our home in '99. Recently, 15 years later, our maple hardwood cutting board broke. I dropped the board off at their shop. Two days later I picked up the finished board. They had re-glued, re-sanded and made the board look and feel like new. It fit perfectly into it's slot in the kitchen island. "We were in a hurry because our cabinets were scheduled to be installed in short order. We were referred to Randy by another of contractor, called him and he promptly came in, gave us his bid, which we agreed to, and he immediately scheduled the work. On the day he was scheduled to start he arrived with Javier, the person who would actually perform the work. Randy got Javier started then left for most of the day and returned at the end to help with cleanup. Javier worked very hard, probably for around 11 hours, and was very good at his trade.
