"With a phone call, John diagnosed the problem over the phone, ordered the necessary part, and came to our house on the weekend to do the job. Once at the house, he carefully inspected the dishwasher and found a second potential cause of the problem (a hose installed incorrectly). He quickly deduced that the hose was not causing the problem, as so installed the part he had brought... and it worked! But then he stayed an extra 20 minutes to insure that the dishwasher worked and didn't have other problems... Convinced everything was now fine, he was off. I certainly think he did a great job, and took pains to be sure the work was successful. I highly recommend John!"

"I reached out to 5 gas stove repair companies through Angi. 3 responded expressing availability. I chose one after looking at their webpage. They were scheduled to come the following morning the technician didn't show up, and I was unable to reach the company by phone. So, I called FixVerse around 1 pm to see if they could come that afternoon. Even though the technician was booked for that afternoon, he was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day at 6 pm. He arrived right around 6 pm, and he was able to confirm that all my gas top burners were working properly as well as the oven. I was renting my apartment to a tenant who was moving in in two days. So, it was such a big help to me that FixVerse was able to come when they did. The technician was terrific, very knowledgeable and skilled."

"Had a spill that rendered my microwave unusable (power surge). I called the manufacturer and they would take 5d to come and evaluate the issue for a set fee. If I decided to use them the service fee was not counted toward the repair. Found TheJetFix on-line and called. They were out within 1d, diagnosed the issue and ordered the parts. The repair could not be completed as there was additional damage. They ordered another part and ultimately fixed the issue. This was important to me as I did not want to get rid of a perfectly good appliance and add to the ever growing landfills. Also, a new unit would have cost me more that 2x the repair (Thermador microwave). Arthur and John were great. Both courteous and professional and passed whatever savings they could on to me. Cannot say enough about this service. You will not be disappointed if you hire them. By the way, their service fee was counted toward my repair! Good business practice!"

"Our 4-year-old microwave stopped working (no display, nothing). After doing some research online I unplugged it and plugged it back in. It started humming very loudly and displayed a PF (power failure) error, indicating a blown fuse or a control board failure. Wintley Baptiste from The Equipment Doctors stopped by two days after I made contact through Angi. He diagnosed the problem as a failed control board and said he would have to order the part and come back in 7-10 days to install it. He gave me an estimated price for the part and labor to install it and asked if I wanted to proceed. I said yes (if I had said no, I would owe $150 for the visit and diagnosis). Wintley called a week later, saying he had the part and could stop by that same day to install it. He did so and the microwave is working fine. The price to repair the microwave was $330. By comparison, a new microwave would have cost at least $500."
