"GPS Tech - Sam - replaced damaged sewer line in my basement and cleared blocked sewer line outside to street. He was very diligent in his work, and even took pictures of the root blockage of the two way clean out at the street at the end of the existing sewer line on property. Our best compliments to him on a job well done!"

"Alliance service pros came to our house to find out why nothing was flowing from our house into my septic tank. They found that the pipe from the house to the tank was failing due improper installation when the house was built. Alliance arrived at our house before the time frame they gave me. They were up front with every charge throughout the process of identifying the source of our problem. A second truck had to be called in with extra equipment and supplies. They did not leave until our problem was solve. This company is honest, reasonable, professional and the guys are very kind. We would highly recommend this company."

"I use them only because they cover my warranty. They give you an appointment for days after you call them you wait days for the part to fix it and to install it. They gave me an estimated time and the repairman shows up later Example: Twice my appointment time was scheduled for 12-4 pm and showed up at 7:00 pm or later . They have been unable to fix the air conditioning unit because of not having proper equipment for making. repair on the truck. The workers are courteous but I have found some operators in the call center rude and unhelpful . Upon warranty expiration I will not be using this company"

"I had my heater serviced for the winter, and Jason did a great job. He was on time, and took his time to make sure everything was done right. He gave me so much info about the job, and what else I can do to make it work better. If you want someone to explain everything to you up front, then HARRIS Plumping and Heating should be for you. angieb"

"I cannot say enough about the courtesy, professionalism, expertise, and diligence exhibited by Donny and his team!! The sewer pipe was broken at multiple locations deep down below my concrete basement floor. Five big-name contractors had looked at the work before, but could not handle it. One even asked me to pay him $1,000 just to give me an ESTIMATE. Donny and his team worked very hard to excavate deep down and replace the broken pipes. The work was done expeditiously and with high quality. All debris was dispose of in a timely manner. Donny is very personable, and he took the time to explain the process every step of the way. This contractor has my highest recommendation!!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Camden, NJ

Most trenchless sewer line replacements can be completed within one to three days, though this varies based on your situation. Simple repairs on accessible lines might be finished in hours, while complex systems or challenging soil conditions could extend the timeline. The reduced excavation requirements result in faster completion compared to traditional trenching methods.

Trenchless pipe lining may reduce the interior diameter of your pipes, which could affect flow capacity in already narrow lines. This method also requires the existing pipe to maintain sufficient structural integrity to support the new liner. Severely collapsed sections, major joint separations, or completely misaligned pipes might not be suitable candidates for lining and could require alternative approaches.

Trenchless sewer pipe liners are rated to last up to 50 years when properly installed and maintained. Actual longevity depends on installation quality, usage patterns, and environmental factors like soil movement or tree root intrusion. Regular maintenance and avoiding problematic disposal practices (like flushing non-biodegradable items) can help maximize your system's operational lifespan.

Trenchless technology availability varies by region, with greater accessibility in metropolitan and suburban areas where specialized contractors operate. Some rural locations may have limited access to trenchless equipment and expertise. Local regulations and soil conditions also influence availability. A professional assessment of your property and local contractor options will determine if trenchless methods are feasible for your specific location.

Professional video inspection provides the most reliable assessment of whether your sewer issues suit trenchless repair. Generally, pipes with moderate damage, like small cracks, minor leaks, or partial blockages, respond well to trenchless techniques. Completely collapsed sections, severe misalignments, or extensive structural failures might require traditional excavation. Consulting with contractors who offer both methods ensures you receive unbiased recommendations.

Quality trenchless sewer replacement often includes a workmanship guarantee from the contractor. The specific terms vary by company and region, but many professionals stand behind their installation for at least one year. Material warranties may extend longer, depending on the pipe products used. Always request written warranty information before hiring, and understand exactly what's covered and what might void your protection.
