"Our garage door spring was broken the technician came out and gave us estimates for various levels of repair. We chose to have a rebuild of some of the components, it was done as scheduled and has never opened smoother and quieter. And cost was UNDER the estimate."

"This company was everything I could have wanted and more. It began with Ray coming out to the property, personally. He explained everything that was needed to get my garage door up and running after my neighbor crashed into it. He listened well then explained what needed to be done. It was like talking to a good friend you trust. He was straight forward and the price was RIGHT!!! They arrived on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They did everything they said they would do. He wasn't a lot of chatter like others that came by to look at the job. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a company with integrity. I love that it is a family owned business too. They take pride in what they do. Thank you so very much."

"
Some nice young men installed poles in cement on the first day of construction. They came back a few days later and put the chain link on the poles.

Lamont was not happy with the way one of the poles was moving when the chain link was being stretched into position. My sandy ground is not holding the poles like regular dirt and soil would. The next day he came by himself and spent several hours reinstalling the moving pole.

A few days later the men came back and finished securing the chain link to the poles and installed the gate.

The fence is very nice. I took about a month from the time I ordered the fence to the time construction began.

"

"The spring broke on our 10-year old door. They came out the same day to diagnose the problem and provided a temporary solution. Made an appointment for the permanent repair a few days later. We also had a new opener installed on another door at the same time. Everyone here was knowledgeable and helpful. They worked with my schedule and were right on time. Great company! Will absolutely continue to use them for our garage door and opener needs.
"

"Absolutely outstanding service! I reached out just yesterday about getting my garage doors repaired, and David responded right away. He was at my house today and had the doors fixed in no time. What really stood out was the level of care he put into the job — he didn’t just repair the doors, he also reprogrammed my clickers and keypads to make sure everything was working seamlessly. David is professional, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable. The whole process was stress-free, his pricing was very fair, and the quality of his work is excellent. It’s rare these days to find someone so reliable who truly goes above and beyond for their customers. If you need garage door service, don’t waste your time looking anywhere else — call David first!"

"It went pretty good but there are/were problems with the install. The astragal on the bottom of the door continues to roll-up as the door closes. A crew returned to address this issue but it still exists."

Lowe's Home Improvement

"The privacy fence: We had someone from Lowe's come to the house to provide us an estimate on the privacy fence. He was courteous and thorough. Lowe's came in with the lowest bid so naturally we hired them for the project. With Lowe's, the contractor handled the permit process (we live in the Town of Smyrna), which was another reason going through Lowe's to have the fence installed was so convenient. Other vendors required we handle the permit process. The contractors did great work. As soon as the permit was approved they came out and put the fence up. They were professional, clean cut, and worked quickly and efficiently.
The storm doors: This was a disaster. We paid the $35 to have someone come to the house and measure the door frames. This happened very quickly. After Lowe's had the measurements they called me every day letting me know I can come in and order the doors. It was Firefly weekend so we weren't jumping at the bit to drive to Lowe's that weekend and I was feeling a bit pestered with the relentless calls. We paid the money to have the measurements taken--we're not going to forget that it was done!! So when traffic was back to normal we went to Lowe's and ordered the doors. The woman who waited on us seemed to be living on another planet--she was absent minded, offered poor customer service, and never asked us what door handle finish we wanted. When I told her I wanted to make sure we would get the correct door finish--brushed nickel, to match our current front door--she was rude to me and acted as though I shouldn't be asking that question. We went and paid for the doors and install at the register and received the call a couple days later from the contractor to schedule the install. On the day of install it was raining so we assumed it would be rescheduled. The contractor showed up, with the doors in the back of his open bed truck, and waited to see if the weather would clear. He took his tools out in preparation. Suddenly, he left, after telling my husband he had an emergency. We were baffled--his tools were gone, he was gone, and we were left in limbo. Was he coming back? Could we go on with our day? Did we need to stay at the house? I called Lowe's to complain and in turn they called the contracted employee. Lowe's called me and said he would be returning. Eventually he did return but he didn't come up to the house to let us know he was back and he didn't tell us whether he felt he could install the door that day. I called Lowe's again and let them know the contracted employee was sitting in his truck and never came to the door to let us know he was back and whether he could install the doors--where is the communication!!! I'm a working professional in Wilmington and I'm no shrinking violet--I'm one of those people who doesn't care whether they are liked or not. Lowe's had called the contracted employee in his truck and explained that I was not pleased. In turn, he came to the door and rang the bell and was standing there with an attitude when I opened the door--until he saw the expression on my face and realized he better be careful. He stopped wasting our time, as there was no way a storm door install could happen that day, and finally left, enabling us to move forward with our day. The work was rescheduled. The second time the contractor sent out a real professional with a proper attitude and work ethic. He installed the doors and everything was fine until I saw the storm door handle, which was shiny gold. I called Lowe's displeased. What's the point of taking an order if Lowe's isn't going to even see to it that they get their contractors the right product?!?!? Luckily, they had an extra door handle in brushed nickel on hand and the contracted employee went to pick it up and change it out the same day. The thing that frustrated me all the more was that Lowe's tried to shirk the blame on us and then the contractor. First they said my husband and I bought the wrong door--we bought paper, I said, that reads on it BRUSHED NICKEL. And as for the contractor, they are supplied the door by Lowe's, so how is it their fault? Anyway, we have decided we will never again do work through Lowe's. This was far too frustrating a process.

"
