"Great, totally satisfied, seems higher priced than others. Said they could replace the toilet for $531 each . . but there wasn't anything wrong with the toilet other than they kept running, wasn't pushy just gave me the option and I had broke the knob off the shut off value on one toilet and he told me the other was leaking so he suggested I replace that one as well. I have had them on other occasions and even though their service is outstanding they do seem much higher priced on everything. I think I will hire them again, unless a comparable plumber is suggested to me. I don't think I would be able to afford their services to install a bathroom in my basement."

"Overall the experience was very positive. The company was able to make the service call within a couple days. They offered an excellent discount on their website, and the resulting price was reasonable. The serviceman was very professional and personable. There was no attempt to recommend unnecessary services. The garage door opener now performs better than when it was first installed."

"We had an extension spring break in the garage door. I called Capital Installers for a quote, which seemed to be a perfectly reasonable amount, and they were able to get me on their schedule that day. The receptionist was polite and professional. The workman took a little longer to arrive but I didn't have too long of a wait (around half an hour longer than what I was told over the phone...thus the B). He had both springs replaced in about 20-30 min. I wish he wouldn't have smoked while working in my basement garage (thus the other B) but otherwise he was quick, efficient and the garage door works great. When I got the bill it was exactly what I was quoted. If I have any other garage issues I would call them again, likewise I would recommend them to anyone who had a similar issue. <br />"

"Because of rain day after day, the project started about 4 months later.   Don did keep in touch during that period.  Anyone who roofs knows you need 2 rain free days to even get started and during the 4 months timeframe, that didn't happen.  But when the project did begin, the crew was here every day until finished.  The original flat roof, became a pitched roof, a non essential window was covered up to allow for proper pitch, siding was applied to the two corner walls of the house.  Price was a bit higher than quoted because of the change from a flat roof to pitched plus there was a lot of rotted wood that had to be replaced when they removed the existing shingles on the flat roof.  We knew that might be the case going into the project.  There was quite a bit of water damage on the framework under the window that was covered up.  It was a non-opening small window anyways & not needed.  Don Fotheringhame is very personable & professional.  I also heard no nasty vocabulary from the crew & that's a big plus. <br />"

"The concrete work is excellent. The 3 car garage is just as we planned; Steve added LED automatic exterior lighting, 3 electric garage door openers and 3 French drains with grates set in the driveway to prevent standing water. The retaining wall matches our stone house. Steve hand built new wooden doors for the stone garage that make it look like an old fashion coach house. The Grandkids adore the Hex Shed which has interior paneled walls, electric outlets and lighting, its sure better to look at from our dining room windows than an old cistern."

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Cameron, MO

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
