"Due to shoddy electrical work in our home since we've been here, a set of 3-way to 4-way to 3-way wall switches were intended to power the light in our front entry hallway. I am not an electrician or electrical engineer, but I understand the concept of this switch arrangement and have successfully replaced a similar switch arrangement elsewhere in our home without any difficulty. We knew that our issue required an expert electrician to diagnose and resolve it. On this date, Steve from Palmer Electric paid a visit to our home to try to solve the problem. After two hours of head scratching and trying different approaches, Steve finally figured out the problem and fixed our issue. We are extremely grateful for Steve's expertise and patience while in our home. I doubt that an inexperienced electrician could have figured this out. We highly recommend Steve and Palmer Electric for home electrical diagnosing and repair."

"I would highly recommend Jim Butler and will definitely use him again. Jim scheduled my jobs quickly, showed up on time when he said he would, and his price and workmanship were excellent. He tidied up all work areas before he left and even had a small vacuum with him to clean up the saw dust and sheet-rock dust from the floors. Jim also explains things as he is working, which I appreciated. He quickly fixed a light switch that was put in by the prior homeowner. Jim explained that there are 2 ways to install switches; one is by bending the wires around a screw, and the other is less secure and involves only sticking the wires into pre-drilled holes, and the prior owner chose the quicker, less secure method of sticking the wires into the holes, which was why the switch sometimes didn't work. Jim removed the wires and bent them around the screws and the switch has worked perfectly since then. Jim only uses the more secure method when installing outlets and switches, he said, and I was very happy with his work. He also suggested he could drill a small hole in the rear of the microwave shelf to hide the wire, which he didn't have to do, and he did so and now it is much neater and the microwave cord is no longer very tight or even visible. I highly recommend Jim Butler, the owner of Butler's Home Services, and will recommend him to family and friends."
