"I had two previous repair men and they didn’t go through the entire system like Stan did. He found that there was 3 sensors could have been an issue and he found the one was frozen. After deicing it he found that it was bad. He replaced it and spent as much time as was needed to repair the problem. The other two tried one thing and they both failed although the one did clean the coils as a measure. Stan was very professional and even called to discuss the issue with another technician. "Total Appliance Service was one of two repair shops in my area listed on the manufacturer's web site. Some of the reviews on Angie's list for TAS are dreadful. So, I called the other shop first. There was a scheduling mishap with them, and I called TAS. My clothes washer has a 5 year warranty when the industry standard is for 3 years. The first place I called was very skeptical. They eventually agreed to honor that provided I produce the warranty documentation. TAS lookup up my model online while I was on the phone and confirmed the 5-year warranty. The technician arrived within the window and had a part in hand. Based on my description he knew what was wrong. He completed the repair within a reasonable amount of time and was personable.
