We were able to coordinate over the phone with me describing my situation and sending a few pictures. Ruben showed up this morning and was probably one of the nicest, kindest, more competent people I have had work on my house ever. He was able to restore my pump to working order and replace the parts needed. Ruben was very communicative and precise in his diagnosis and repair. He left after a few hours with my pump back up and running - the pump was cleaned out and the alarm float replaced. I am so relieved and more importantly, happy to know whom to call if one of my 4 pumps is in need of some TLC at any time. We eventually secured 4 bids but found this company to be competitive.  We have a 1942 home that had foundation issues. Not only cracks in the foundation but a portion of the house was not level.  We found BAU to be very responsive, professional and reasonable.  Obtaining a permit from the City (typical) took much longer than anticipated. However, once the permit was secured they went to work almost immediately. During the work in progress, BAU uncovered a problem during the lifting of the foundation. A crack in the foundation had widened as a result of the lifting.  Since we were already on a tight budget, we anticipated the worse overrun.  However, BAU came up with a solution that fixed the issue and our additional cost was less than $500. A great relief.  The foreman on the job always kept us updated with a status along with the owner of the company.
