"Travis went above and beyond to deliver great service. He took pictures of what he saw going on in the crawl space. He patiently and carefully explained those issues to me. He is very knowledgeable. When it’s time to service the dehumidifier next year, I will be sure to ask for him."

"I used this company first to install a dehumidifier and then a sump pump. Prices were reasonable and payment plan option available. My basement is now fully waterproof. The excellent customer service is polite and responds in a reasonable time. Awesome company!!!"

"I have hired Quality 1st Basement Systems twice now and have been thrilled by their professionalism and work. The crew lead both times was Wilbur and the system design specialist was Mike Fiorillo. What I particularly appreciated about the sales process was how Mike worked with me to balance cost and efficacy. Regardless of what you decide to do, I would recommend at least getting a bid from Quality 1st. Additionally, on the day of installation, Mike arrived to help communicate the plan with Wilbur (crew lead) because of the complex nature of my foundational repair. Note: in between the 1st and 2nd job I had a structural engineer review my home and he specifically commented that he approved of the work done by Wilbur and his crew at Quality 1st. He noted that all other work previously done by the former home owners had serious flaws."

"I moved into my house about two years ago and would get floods in my basement during every storm. I tried to fix it myself environmentally, but failed in my attempts. I then decided to finally fix the problem and get my basement waterproofed. Being relatively new to Delaware, I put in a request to get free estimates. I had a few companies come out to look at it and narrowed my choices down. I was down to Basement Waterproofing Specialists (BWS) and Basement Gurus. The difference was the representative from Basement Gurus had a more natural approach and took the time to ask numerous questions, as the other representatives asked little to no questions. The Basement Gurus representative suggested to fix internally AND externally, plus they even added a lateral system in my basement. No other company felt to even thought of a lateral systems or external drainage, or to even ask about it. I could not speak more highly of the representative and his team at Basement Gurus, they took the time to explain every step and the process before and during the installation to keep me involved with what was going on. The crew was extremely polite and respectful of my house, they were very efficient and they "did not play games" for lack of a better word. lol The very next day we had heavy rains, which I was excited to test out my waterproofing system! During and after it rained there was not even a single drop of water in my basement or laundry room. The representative even had his team remove and replace all of the studs that had become moldy and also put in new mold resistant drywall. Basement Gurus treated us as if we were family and for anyone looking to get waterproofing done in their house, call Basement Gurus, they truly stand themselves apart from the competition!"

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. If you are waiting for work to be done just know that it is worth it! Thanks Rightway!!!"

"I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor!!!!
This team was knowledgeable about their trade, professional, prompt, and courteous from start to finish and beyond.
After getting a couple of quotes from other waterproofing companies, I contacted Jersey Dry to get a quote for waterproofing the basement, and the first gentleman I dealt with was Jeff Lentz, who came by the house to identify my concerns and requirements, take measurements of the basement, design a preliminary solution, and provide the estimate of costs for work to be done.  He was extremely patient and answered every single one of my questions (and there were a lot).  He was very thorough and really wanted to make sure I was satisfied with everything and all my questions were answered before he left.
The solution they provided seemed to be better than their competition, and the price I was quoted was about $3k less than the next lowest cost contractor, and based on these factors and the fact that Jeff seemed so genuine, I decided to move forward with Jersey Dry to perform the work.  My decision was also greatly influenced by the fact that they have a lifetime warranty for the work being performed, so if you have any problems at all down the road, you just call them and  they come out and fix it.  Not to mention that they will also come out to your home once a year to perform maintenance on the system free of charge!
The original quote was for the following:
- full perimeter french drains (147 linear feet)
- remove old sump pit basin, and install new sump pit basin in existing pit
- remove old electric sump pump and install new electric sump pump
- install new water pressure backup pump in existing pit
- dig new sump pit in opposite corner from existing pit
- install new sump pit basin in new pit
- install new electric sump pump in new pit
- install new water pressure backup pump in new pit
- water discharge to lawn outside of house (later changed to discharge to storm drain in front of house)
The crew came as scheduled on 07/23/2014, and I was greeted by Darek who was the crew chief as well as one of the owner's of the company.  He was very polite, explained that the job would be completed around 3pm the next day, and went over everything that was agreed upon, to ensure that the work to be performed and my expectations were in line with what Jeff and I originally discussed.  We walked around the basement, and went over everything before any work started and after clarifying a few things Darak and his team were ready to go (these guys worked extremely hard and only took a short break for lunch) .  I did request that prior to starting certain phases of the project that I be called down to see the progress and I was called down as requested.
About 2hrs into their work , I spoke with Darek and asked him if it would be a problem to run a 4in PVC pipe from the house to the storm drain in front of the house to discharge the water into the storm drain instead of onto the lawn.  And additionally, since the ditch in the lawn would already be dug up, I also requested that they run a separate line for a couple of the leaders from the house to go to the storm drain as well.  He said it would not be a problem for them, and they immediately began making calls to the town to obtain the permits to punch into the storm drain.  He also provided me with an updated quote (which was not at all unreasonable and is included in the $9,200 stated above).
After all the work was completed, everything was better than I expected, and they did a great job cleaning up the work area afterwards.
Oh, and I decided to test the sump pumps myself a couple of months after the work was completed, and realized that in one of the sump pits the backup water pressure pump was getting triggered before the electrical sump pump was triggered.  I sent an email and they receptionist (Megan, who was also a joy to deal with during the entire process) called me and set up an appointment for Darak to come out the next day.  As scheduled, Darak arrived the next day and had the problem corrected in about 20min, and told me not to hesitate to call if I need anything else.
I will definitely be using Jersey Dry again if I need any waterproofing done, and I am already spreading the word to all my family and friends.  Believe me, you will not be disappointed if you choose Jersey Dry!

"Harry helped identify suppliers for tile and fixtures and helped guide our design process. Once parts arrives, work began fairly quickly. The shower is gorgeous. His tile installer is an artist. The rest of the bathroom looks great too. Harry was usually great about calling me back or texting back quickly."

"Steve calmed my fears and did the job in two phases at a great price. First all Mold was removed. Second Steve’s Cree came out and built the French Drain in my basement. In both occasions Steve’s crew came out on time and worked very hard to get the job done. Steve kept in constant contact with me during the process and sent pictures of the completed job. I highly recommend Steve for his professionalism and Honesty."

"We needed a professional, courteous, experienced, fast response & assessment of the mold occurring in our basement after flooding. RHK came through for us. Rajay came the same day we called. After working a full day already with other clients, he arrived as promised and, yes, he determined that we have mold. Rajay patiently explained the steps necessary to begin drying out the basement: adding another dehumidifier, running fans for approx 72hrs, turning on the air conditioning (we are now experiencing 80° temps in April!), & immediately gathering any organic material harboring mold like paper that must be trashed. Rajay also tested the furniture to see if any of it could be saved. He really took his time & explained what he would be able to do to fix the mold problem and even reminded us to have someone check that the downspouts are adequately draining water away from the house outside. Rajay promised to provide a written estimate in a few days. No charge for this initial visit and we were glad that Rajay agreed with us that we could first handle the drying out tasks ourselves for free. As soon as we dry out and have the damaged things hauled away, we will call on Rajay to go forward with replacing the damaged paneling with drywall, installing new insulation, & treating the mold."
