"We had laminated floors put in by Empire over ten years ago and we’re extremely satisfied. I wanted another room and a hallway with the same look. The same salesperson came for the estimate. He said the floors would not have a shine and the planks were not as wide. He also said the quarter round would be “ the same”. The floors are much more orange ( I know exact matches are impossible) . The quarter round is also orange against dark walnut baseboard. It looks terrible. My son looked at it and said” who would do that to someone’s home?” I did say to the installer when he was done, ( we were blocked from the area until they were finished) I hate it!” There was dust everywhere, I was so upset, and we hadn’t been able to get to the bathrooms for hours. I just signed the form so they would leave. I emailed Reece Young from customer service and explained how dissatisfied we were. He had someone named Mike call me and tell me “that’s what goes with the floor .” He followed that with a series of no answers. I asked if there was any resolution, had this ever happened before, …? Of course no one contacted us after the job is done to see how they did. I was only shown a small piece of the flooring before they started and never shown the quarter round. We were also required to pay BEFORE the job was started even though they had a down payment. I would have considered paying part of the quarter round replacement ( same as the other rooms) but was offered nothing! It really looks terrible where the rooms meet. I will be contacting a contractor and paying out of pocket to fix this horrendous mess. Very sorry I wanted 5,4000 dollars to be this unhappy. I don’t think we’re fussy customers . If you don’t want to waste your money please be careful and learn from our expensive mistake."

"I had a service appointment on Feb. 28, 2019, for two problems: limited hot water in one shower and cloudy water coming from the kitchen faucet most of the time (also impacting the dishwasher--ie, I can't use the faucet or dishwasher for safe and sanitary cooking or cleaning). The technician fixed the shower, but said he could not identify the problem with the water (which was not cloudy at the time of the appointment) without first taking a water sample and having it run. He opined that it was a water quality issue and needed to be filtered--confirming that it is not safe to use the kitchen faucet or dishwasher (same pipe) until it was fixed. It is April 15 and I have been unable to get an answer from anyone or have anyone come back out to fix the problem. I have emailed and called, and nothing. No explanation of the test results, no follow-up. Highly disappointed. Now I will have to start over with a new company, two months later, so that I can soon start using the water in my kitchen for cooking and cleaning. For someone who cooks often, this has been a nightmare, and it is ruining everything that goes through the dishwasher with the film and residue left behind. I do not recommend this company. Regarding the shower, he was called for an evaluation and estimate, and began fixing the issue without authorization. The cost seemed very high for the repair work, and my landlord wanted to get a few estimates before proceedings with repairs. The technician didn't provide that option. I was ultimately happy to have the shower fixed, but overall not good service."

"Stay away from this rat. Worst HVAC experience of my life. I didn't even hire Mour(owner), he was subcontracted out to me(E & O HVAC). I just needed my central AC unit moved closer to my house after I replaced the back decking of my house. We agreed on a price, and on a date for the job. He never showed up that day; nor the next day. I had to hound him over the phone. 4 weeks later he finally showed up. He said he couldn't do my work sooner because my AC was working and he had customers whose AC wasn't working. After the job was the done, my own ac was no longer working. He had torn the hose, and the refrigerant leaked out. He made me wait 3 weeks, in August, before he finally returned to repair his own negligence. He, also, did not put in enough refrigerant. I called a different company to do that; just so I'd be rid of him. Stay away from this clown at all costs."
