"I had two wall sections with damage that needed to be repaired with new drywall and paint. Vitaly from Apex Design Build did a beautiful job on the walls -- I'm very impressed. I hope not to need that skill again any time soon, but I will certainly contact them the next time I need another wall repaired -- it's virtually impossible to tell there had been damage. He also adjusted a ceiling fan that had been installed by a friend (a mistake -- use a professional!) and it took him only 15 minutes. I have always been very impressed by how Apex Design Build cleans up everything when they are done working -- and they even took it away with them. Excellent work and in a timely manner for me."

"We considered for a very long time on when we would remodel our kitchen. At last, the time came to decide on a contractor to do the work. Wendell checked out the reviews on Home Adviser and decided on a couple to check out. We were impressed with Yesteryearâ s reviews, and Andy Kopanskiâ s presentation. His price was within our budget (unlike the second proposal from another company). We did not realize with covid there are several challenges with the delays in shipments for cabinets and other supplies. We are so glad we hired Andy and his crew (Brian and Chris)! Andy always had a good attitude (even with all the additional challenges) and did all he could to make it easier on us. He and his crew were always respectful of our home and us. Communication was constant and timely, all questions answered and lists checked off. Their effort to keep down the dust and dirt made life much better for us. Yesteryear did extra tasks to keep the project moving when supplies were not delivered on time. Good planning, good work, which resulted in a good project. They made our kitchen look and work beautifully. We are so very happy with our new kitchen!!!!! If we decide to do other updates Andy will be our first call! Wendell and Connie Bunting"

"I usually don't take the time to leave many reviews, but I felt particularly compelled to leave a review for Ken and his team. We had several contractors come to take a look at what we needed. We had an old wall oven that sat under a counter top range. That oven broke and we could not replace it with anything similar so we ended up buying a single slide in unit. We needed the space cut out and rebuilt for this slide in unit. This required moving a gas line and installing a new electrical outlet (since the unit was duel fuel). This also required cutting out the existing cabinetry and our existing quartz counter top. Plus the actual installation of the unit. We had several contractors (over months) who either told us this couldn't be done or suggested to us that we replace our existing counter top completely. Ken came and did an estimate and felt fairly confident his team could accomplish this. They did amazing work and installed our new unit without any issues. I honestly thought we would need the help of several teams of people (plumber, electrician, etc) but by using Ken, he arranged and coordinated for all of the work to be done through his team, making this so much easier than we thought. The work was done quickly and efficiently so we weren't inconvenienced at all. In addition to the work, Ken was always punctual to all appointments. He was responsive to text and email inquiries and his team was very professional (from his adminstrative assistant, to the guys that came to the house). I will definitely be calling on them again, as we have an old house that always needs work done. I believe Home Experts are home builders and they can handle big remodel jobs as well. Overall I had a great experience with this company."

"Dave and his team helped us plan out a deck that maximized square footage while still satisfying our design for a clean and modern look. During the build, which went very quickly, they put footings into some very rocky soil to anchor a deck which, years later, is still rock-solid. Dave and his team have my highest recommendation."

"We were looking for a company that could deliver a high end, custom bar for our basement for a fair price. Custom Home Medic delivered on that and we are thrilled we selected to work with them. Adam and Russ were open to ideas/photos/options we had and they took care of the rest to ensure the end result was perfect. The project manager, Larry, and workers on the job were polite, friendly and always willing to update me on the project. Only reason for 4.5 stars is our renovation hit right during the COVID time period which delayed the finish of our project significantly. But I would still highly recommend Custom Home Medic for your next home remodel!"

"At the beginning the work started well but by the end the quality of work especially the drywall was subpar. Tom is slow in getting a quote to you but does respond. Tom is very nice but his staff is not professional especially Dave. I thought with Tom being in business as long as he has would be able to provide in a professional manner quality work. It is not true. Tom asked if I wanted his guys to take up the carpet. I thought ok. However, they tore up to 10 inches of drywall off many of the walls. They attempted to repair them but the work was subpar. I thought they were winding up work so I contacted the painters. The painters came in. There was tension between the paint foreman and Tom's crew. They were squabbling like elementary children on the playground. (I am not happy with the painters either but this is a separate matter) The walls unfortunately got painted with the poor drywall job. The painter did provide a drywall person to repair the worse spots. There are still poor spots on the walls but I wanted Tom and his crew out of my space. Each of the respective parties were blaming each other. This behavior is so unprofessional. On Friday last week, Dave was yelling at me over errors I did in trying to improperly apply color to the walls so I could see what it looked like (I applied the paint way before any drywall began). Again, because of poor communication the painters just painted over the poor drywall job. I did agree to pay for it since it was my mistake that should have been brought to my attention long before it was even painted over. Dave did such a bad job that there were air bubbles in the drywall because he did not let it set before he painted over it. Tom did have his other guy fix it. It looks better but not perfect. I had Tom put two new toilets in the space. There is now a big gash in the brand new floor where the floor doe not meet the toilet. There was not even going to be an attempt on Tom's part to fix this. In my opinion, all of the unnecessary drywall could have been avoided by properly having his guys take up the carpet right to begin with. I paid over $8,000 for unnecessary drywall, If you only have Tom's crew do the bare minimum that you need done for your project, then you are in good shape but BEWARE of them doing anything extra as it will cost you!"
