Get matched with top foundation, basement or crawlspace waterproofing / encapsulation pros in Carrboro, NC

"I had a flood for the first time in the crawlspace and basement. I called Regional Foundation & Crawlspace Repair to come out. They wanted 27K for crawlspace encapsulation, that was too much and I could do most the work myself. I instead paid them $5,000.00 to bury a geodrain and install a triple safe sump pump system. This is the job they did, they installed the sump pumps at the 3rd to lowest point in the crawlspace and this geodrain goes back and forth from uphill to downhill. The lowest point still allows water to flood downstairs. They also cracked a chunk of my foundation at the point of sump pumps egress. Outside they just threw rocks on ground were the water comes out and can get back into the ground to reenter the crawlspace. They got 1 star because the people were nice, their job was not. Update as of 4/23/2024 they contacted me and said they wanted to make sure everything was good. A Girl and guy came out and noticed a couple things I didn't and said they would fix it that their company does not do work like that. They dug up all the previous geodrain and moved it to walls, tried to level out the drain and changed the location of the pumps and the drain outside. She had a really good work ethic and never took a break. The guy was on the other side of house and think he did good too. Everything they did looked professional and looks like they fixed everything. They had to come back today to finish the work today, but had three of them. It all looks good and they tested everything. They apologized about the old work and were not sure went wrong, but I don't have a negative view of the company now and am satisfied with the work they did. Just nocking one star for the under trained individuals that came the first time, the second crew was great!"

"Tar Heel Basement Systems has done both a foundation stabilization and then a year later, crawl space encapsulation. The James, James, Jeffery, and Terell team was definitely the 'A-Team'. They were all great to work with, pleasant, efficient, and hard-working, and went above and beyond in the quality of their work and attention to detail. Thank You 'A' Team!!"

"Mr Cortez pushes himself to make sure the job turns out to be 1st class. Other companies said that I did not need a trench around my foundation ($2500) but he insisted I did. During a hard rain after he had completed the trench drain he showed me where the water was coming in. It was a lot of water. If the other companies had did the job it would have ruined all the work, and been a waist of money. His crew has works from 8 to 5 each day, and I mean work.He is also very kind and trustworthy. His finished project is beautiful."

"A great group of folks - professional, courteous, friendly, and thorough. What more could one ask for? They 'upgraded' the insulation in my attic, and discovered and addressed a couple of problems I was not aware of. Great job! I'll refer you to all my friends. It's good to know that you also do crawlspace/basement encapsulation."

"Chris did an exceptional job explaining the process of how the drainage system would help the foundation of our home and getting everything installed. Definitely recommend to those looking for drainage systems."

"System was installed on time as scheduled. Customer service was great, all questions or concerns were addressed. Would recommend the company to anyone with water leaking in basement."

"Brent was great to work with-- he was informative, knowledgeable and fair. He even went the extra mile by himself completing an item forgotten by the initial crew. My basement is now mold free, and I"m confident it will remain mold free with the Healthy Home guarantee."

"They were on time, did a clean job...very efficient!"
