"Norman came to the house and measured the counter tops. He was on time, budget and never late. He was always there. He used every bit of material with no waste. <br /> Our counter tops are cut at angles, so the process was not a simple one. <br /> Norman and his crew handled the task with the utmost care with every line and curve perfect! <br /> We also replaced our kitchen sink with a graphite sink. It is an under mount fitting and it looks awesome. I love showing it off! <br /> Home-Pro does beautiful work and quality work. You will not find anyone better. I highly recommend Home-Pro."

"We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.? Despite this, it arrived in great shape, other than a couple minor paint scratches, which we will fix with touchup paint they are sending at no charge.? While the enclosed wall brackets were different from those described in the installation manual (an improved design), installing them was no problem. An extra bracket was included, which we also installed as this will be a large ?sail? on the side of the house and we want it to stay there. We extend our sincere thanks to the team at RetractableAwnings.com, and for those review sites that accept photographs, we include the following photo."

"It all went very well. Chuck was always here promptly and even though it was more difficult, he laid the tiles in the family room and front entryway at an angle. Did an excellent job. <br /> <br />"

"Member Comments: Frank Davis and crew arrived promptly at 10:30AM and began removing the old aluminum windows in preparation for installing the new vinyl windows. Once the rough openings had been prepared, the new vinyl windows were installed and sealed. All the while this was happening, the installers <br /> were picking up after themselves. <br /> At 3:00PM when frank and his crew prepared to leave, they had removed the old windows, installed and <br /> sealed the new vinyl windows, cleaned up the front and back yards and restored the interior of the house <br /> to the way it was before the work began. <br /> About a half hour after the installers had gone, I went out to look at the installation. My first thought was that <br /> it looked like the installers had never been there and second, the windows had always been there. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"<p>This document provides a good framework for performing any type of outsourced project for your home. It is detailed sufficiently for novice homeowners who do not have knowledge of any project management activities. Some of the assumptions:</p> <p>1.) Individual home project: i.e. - Remodeling Guides - The video suggested to go beforehand and perform some due diligence regarding materials cost. In my particular case I chose to wait until the contractors provided recommendations for companies whom they had relationships with and then went directly to the vendors. I also chose to benchmark those vendors cost against wholesalers I researched on the internet.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>2.) General Contractors - This document can be used for individual projects or for projects that will be managed by a general contractor, the difference being a cost factor. I had several projects all of which were inclusive of what a GC would be hired for. however took the burden of managing the project as if I were the general contractor (GC). Because my projects were self funded, I did not have the additional funds to source a resource to oversee the projects. This presented an additional and ongoing risk to me in several areas that I accept around compliance, quality, time constraints, and cost. </p> <p>Overall I used this document to help manage each project at a high level. A general contractor will mitigate the risk of project planning and all of the activities associated with the project, albeit at an additional cost for their service. I would recommend this document to anyone who doesn't have experience in managing a project. It will definitely help with setting expectation for you and the general contractor or person who is performing the service. The more informed you are (or appear), the less inclined people are to take advantage of you.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>One suggestion for Red Head Rehabs - In the kitchen renovation guideline - New (section): There should be a checkbox for flooring and electrical wiring.</p> <br />"
