He arrived with a complete package/brochure which included a letter of introduction and an unsolicited list of references of work completed within our local area. Randy was very patient with us in trying to decide whether to use cedar or pressurized wood to support the deck as well as our seasonal porch. On the first day of work, a three man crew arrived with Brandon as the lead team member. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and quiet as they worked for the next five days. They were extremely tidy in cleaning up during and after the work product was installed. We would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. A job very WELL DONE!"

"My efforts to find someone to re-roof my house weren't going very well when a friend recommended DS Bahr, who she had used twice on two different houses. My duplex has four chimneys in an unusual configuration and every other company I talked to either said a costly on-site fabrication process would be necessary or simply shrugged. Dave Bahr was the most responsive, reassuring contractor I heard from. His bid was among the most reasonable. His crew was fast and professional. They tarped the perimeter of the house, cleaned up at the end of the day each day they were here and left my plantings and decks tidy. The new roof looks terrific! I'm very happy."

I have to share my 1st attempt on hiring the right guy for this project. It consisted of me getting a couple recommended contractors from others and thought I was good. Instead it was terrible, to the point where we mutually agreed it was best for them to remove the decking and poorly installed addition and walk away. Naturally I cautiously interviewed several more deck builders before deciding on MN Construction.
From the 1st call, Trevor impressed me. He made time out of his busy schedule to stop by or take my calls. He gave me an clear overview, answered questions and concerns from the last guy's work, explained why when asked, left samples, etc. He suggested deferent designs and product over others and why, building my confidence quickly. After we traded a few emails/texts, my decision to go with MN Construction was an easy one.
During the project, with a crew of 3, progress was made quickly. They were efficient, hard working, and asked questions when needed. The results are more than we expected to get because of his recommendations and I know our deck with last longer because of the quality of work/product they used. When I'd point out this or that, boom done, and better than expected. After interviewing several and hiring a couple, it's hard to find guys like this out there. You can bet they will be getting another call from me on other remodel work and I have already passed their name on.
