"I was initially going to go with a whole house reflooring (tile in high traffic, carpet in bedrooms) but some challenges came up and decided to only do carpeting in the bedrooms. Steve, the company representative, was great. His price was better compared to two other well reviewed flooring companies and one from Costco. Install was fast and the carpet is high quality. The team that came out was professional in every way possible. There were no issues at all with the installation. Lastly, I appreciated that Steve was honest. As I mentioned I wanted the whole house refloored but was unable to do the entire tile job. I inquired about doing the tile job in piecemeal. Steve stated they can, but it would better overall to do the whole job for a unified look rather than piecemeal. I appreciated this because he could have said yes and secured the contract but thought of the customer's best long term interest. Due to the quality of work and honesty, I'd call Discount Floors Inc first for any flooring needs."

"We are going to be snow birds and recently purchased a home in Sun City. We worked with Cornerstone via the phone from MN and they were very professional discussing carpet and flooring concerns, options, etc. Once we decided on what we wanted, Cornerstone went and removed the old carpet, replaced the bedroom carpets and installed the hardwood floors, while we were in MN. We were very pleased and impressed when we went back at the end on July. We would definitely hired and work with them again. <br />"

"We bought a home in Sun Lakes that had carpeting In the two bedrooms and closets. As an asthma sufferer, I needed to replace the carpeting. Being new to the area, we asked around and selected Floorever Interiors in Chandler, a family-owned business, and selected a wood grain style-ceramic tile. They removed the carpeting and set the tile floor, beautifully. They did everything they promised, on time and on budget. They exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them!"

"These are area rugs that go into their carpet service place for cleaning and then they deliver them back. They're very professional and they're very upfront about their pricing. The price of cleaning the rug is based on its size and they will let you know if they anticipate problems with cleaning the rug. They also let you know how far out it's going to take to get your rug back to you. So it's not an overnight thing. It's at least three weeks and it could be more, depending on how busy they are."

"I had my living room painted and the painter got some paint (not alot) on the carpet. So, I bought the $84 deal for this cleaning service on Angie's List. On the day of my appointment the cleaner contacted me to advise that the current job he was doing was more detailed than he anticipated and he would be running behind schedule. He said he would call when he was on his way and he did. I appreciated the update as that allowed me to do what I needed to instead of wondering where he was. He was nice & professional but I'm rating a C because considering how much I paid, he couldn't get the small paint stains out of the carpet. It sucks because I bought the Angie's List deal specifically for that purpose. Other than that, the carpet looks great."

"Dennis has been in this business for many years and knows his business. The carpet stretching took a long time, but turned out well. After stretching and cleaning the carpet looked like new. The sofas looked beautiful when cleaned and dried."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Casa Grande, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
