"This was partially my mistake, but I ended up paying for a garbage disposal I did not need. Not until the new disposal was installed did the installer test to find out that the problem was not with the disposal itself, but with the wall switch to turn it on. So I spent $299 for a new disposal that I didn't need. It was my mistake, I guess, because I didn't realize that it could be something else and I prepaid for the new disposal. But learn from my mistake...before you pay for something, you should really check and confirm the cause of the problem. Don't assume that the company you hire will do that automatically. I assumed they would clue me in to what else the problem could be or at least ask what the problem was before installing this. Live and learn... Would I hire them again? Yes, but only knowing that I can't assume that they will do the diagnosis prior to repair or replace. Also, when they called to confirm the appointment, the man who called told me there would be an additional dispatch fee...when i told him that the service was portrayed as all inclusive on Angie's List, and to talk to the owner...he came back and told me they would wave the fee. So again, the customer must really be on his/her toes and object to hidden fees."

"We had a pipe burst in our basement during the cold snap in GA this year. I called him at the suggestion of a co-worker. he immediately returned our call and despite his being booked the entire day from early morning until late at night, he fit us in. he came over to the house ,checked out the situation and gave us a quote. one of the great things he does is he makes sure he looks at all your plumbing needs to make sure there are not issues which you were not aware of or might have missed. he let us know he was going to have to tear out our existing shower to fix the pipe. since they were going to have to fix the pipe anyway, we decided to redo the basement bathroom. Brian spoke with my husband about who he would need to complete the job and at the request of my husband, spoke to him about a tankless water heater for the house. Brian gave us a very fair price. he gave us the contact information for the tile installer, the dry wall installer, the painter and the frameless glass enclosure installer. he was there for every individual who came to work on the bathroom and worked with them, making sure they came, they did what they said they were going to and answered any of our questions. Brian fixed the pipe which burst as well as insulated it so that it wouldn't occur again, he installed our vanity and the granite top, he installed the new toilet, he installed the tankless water heater and all faucets/shower heads etc. not one time did he push, there was no hard selling, nor did he suggest un-needed repairs. Brian is professional, personable, knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. i would recommend him to anyone, and for me,that is saying a lot ! we are going to call him back when we renovate our kitchen and two other bathrooms.

"We have one Big Deal come out and it was a plumber, and honestly I got what I needed from them for a decent price but what they promised, they said they are going to put in this and this, they did half of that and what they did put in were really cheap parts.  Because I had some another plumber came out to do the fixing, so I am really hesitant to buy any Big Deal because of that.  Like I said, I got what I needed from them but if I actually bought it for what they promised I would have been upset.  They didn’t honor their promise and they put cheap parts.  The other guy is really weird too he kept talking  badly about other customers which is always find not tasteful.  The Big Deal was not a very good deal."
