"I contacted Evergreen Construction Group I had them come out and give me a quote for my master, and guest bathroom. Yan came out to my house with in a few days of reaching out, he gave us our quotes and we chose to go with Yan and Evergreen Construction Group. Yan was amazing at getting a team to come to the house within a few days to start the guest bathroom. Once they finished that they started our master bathroom. Yan checked in everyday to make sure everything was on track. They were very clean, always before they left they made sure to clean up after themselves. They gave me a time line and they completed a week before the time line they gave me. I would highly recommend Evergreen Construction Group, Inc."

"Our initial meeting with Suj was great. Initially, we had in mind a much larger job. He had quoted us $3000 for the closet demolition / wall rebuild (non-load bearing), packaged with several other items. Together with the fee for drawings ($4000) and permits, this was a bit higher than we anticipated. However, we decided to go with Suj due to his responsiveness and professionalism. Out of our other quotes, Suj’s pricing was middle of the pack - not the cheapest or most expensive. When the drawings were complete and evaluated, he gave us an updated cost of $6000 over text message. The scope of work had changed, and this was no longer part of a bigger project - understandable. The issue was when he gave us the official estimate a week later and up’d the price once again to $9000. When asked what happened, his exact words were “well, I need to get paid too”. He had weeks to consider before quoting the $6000 and nothing had changed since then. The extra $3000 may be insignificant compared to most renovation costs, but for us in our first home, this was back breaking. We continued with Suj since we were already locked in and well past the 3 day cancellation period. Their work for the most part was exceptional. The new wall blended perfectly into our existing structure, and the ceiling patch was also well done. The problem here was the floor. They had dug up a 1” deep pit in the floor, likely to remove the wall studs. However, they did not patch the floor or even let us know this was going to be an issue. We were never told about the pit until I decided to check in on their progress one day towards the end of the wall build. This required us to pay a handyman to come in next day on a weekend to patch the concrete since we had cabinets being installed the following Tuesday. Suj was aware of this and did not believe it pertinent information. Overall, Suj and SoCal Builders do quality work, but the issues in pricing consistency lost us before the work even started. Not even telling us that we’d be left with a 1” deep pit in our floor after was another huge issue which should’ve been brought up much earlier. This was our first experience with a contractor and I’m not sure if this is typical or not. However, it’s enough to make me doubt I’d contact them for any future work."

"I am very pleased with the work done by Hic builders. Our initial contact was Josef. He came out and gave us a fair price to replace a wood fence, patio cover, and deck. Materials were sourced and brought in without delay despite supply shortages. My dad is a civil engineer and he noted the wood to be of good quality. He and his workers showed up daily, on-time until the project was completed. Every day the work area was left tidy and cleaned up. We live in a townhome. The only access to the backyard is through the front door and living area. His team covered our furniture and flooring. We will definitely call on Hic Builders in the future and recommend others to do the same."

A little historyâ ¦ My parents in Glendale, CA had a cold call 2009 when they needed to redo their bathroom to their 1927 Mission Revival house. Because of the excellent work my parents requested there services again in 2010 to renovate the whole house. In 2021 my husband and I needed the ceiling removed in our condo unit to see the termite damage. (Luckily it was very minimal.) and while it was open, put in recess lighting inside. We sold the condo this year (2022) and bought a house. Where we, once again, called ING Construction to do what the house inspector fixes were needed to the 1979 house up to code. We had a drain place in the back. New dedicated gas line to tankless water tank plus earthquake shut off valve to gas meter. Added bathroom fan vents to vent the moisture out. New vent pipe to the washing machine in the garage. New roof to the house plus adding solar, as well. They were extremely fast, and the quality is unmeasurable. We will always use them in the near future. (as in next year painting our house exterior as well as removing the popcorn off the living room ceiling. Besides the year after in remodeling our two bathrooms.)"

"We remodeled both of our bathrooms with Pacific Ocean Builders this past summer. We live in a 1920â s coop building in West Hollywood which has a lot of requirements for renovations. (Lots of extra paperwork, licenses, letters, strict work hours, asbestos abatements, and they also had stipulations about which plumbers we could use). Pacific Ocean Builders were very accommodating and flexible about all of our buildings needs. Pacific Ocean Builders weren't the cheapest quote we received but the had the best upfront communication and expertise which we why we chose to work with them and It was a great decision because the bathrooms came out beautiful!! The craftsmanship was an excellent and the workers was very respectful of the other spaces in our apartment. They keep all the areas of the apartment they're using clean while working. The project did take longer than we anticipated but that had nothing to do with the Erez team. I had hold ups with the building, the required sub-contractors and the DOB which was aggravating but come with the territory of this type of renovation. All that said, our favorite part of working with Pacific Ocean Builders were the accessibility. They're always available to help corral the many different moving parts of the job and it was essential that we were always able to get in touch with someone who could give us updates and help at a moments notice.
