He had quite a bit of difficulty getting the old faucet off as it had rusted but he successfully removed it and replaced it with a Delta. He cleaned up everything and left it better than he found it. Each day the crew showed up on time, worked hard all day, and cleaned up at end of each day; were respectful of property, and very professional, and pleasant to work with. They kept us informed of progress, and what was being done each day. During removal of old piping, they found additional damage behind the pipes that was not visible/identified during initial inspection- were very reasonable with determining the additional cost. They replaced damaged sills, old rotted floor joists, installed permanent support girders with masonry piers, installed a 10ml plastic vapor barrier, and installed multiple foundation vents. We are very satisfied with the results. Our floors are no longer bouncy, and floors feel very sturdy- was a dramatic difference after work completed. The 10 ml plastic Vapor barrier also has prevented that old damp smell inside the house after heavy rains. Was a good experience, and reasonable cost-(initial estimate $10,400, additional work required and we added foundation vent installation was $3800); would hire again."

"The best part was the appointment was scheduled using text messaging, which I prefer. I was disappointed that I could not get an estimate for services in advance, then paid $89 for an estimate where the plumber just pulled out a price sheet. The primary reason for the call was for some non-critical estimates for a remodel, etc. The plumber was professional. The service charges are extremely high. Since he was there I did elect to have one service performed. However, it ended up not being the repair needed, so I paid a lot to replace a part that was working properly, then given a new estimate to attempt the next solution. At this point I had paid 3 times what it would cost to go to Home Depot and do an upgraded replacement of everything, and was going to have to pay twice that to try the next repair option, so I cut my losses and find a different plumber."

"Queen City Plumbing was one of three quotes obtained for this repair and by far the most comprehensive and reasonable. They came out on a Saturday to provide a quote and scheduling the work was effortless. The technicians arrived prompted on the day of service and I did not have to remain at home for the work to be completed. When they finished, I was emailed pictures of each phase of their work and my lawn was repaired from their digging. Will hire again for any other plumbing work needed in my home."

"The work they did was very good. However, they definitely need to work on communication and keeping the customer informed of what's going on, that part I was not too satisfied with. When they scheduled the work with me after we hired them, they told me what day they'd be coming out and asked if I'd be home. I said yes, I will. I made sure to be home that day, but they never showed up, costing me time off work, and never called me to let me know they weren't coming. At least keep me in the loop. The project rep's response to my complaint was, "You didn't need to be home anyway." Well, would've been nice to be told that upfront. There was also no follow-up when they finished - no phone call or email to ask if we had any questions or concerns, as this was a pretty major project done to our house. To me, that's important professionalism. As a customer, you want to feel valued. All we received was an email with the final invoice."

"The service was satisfactory. When they came to do the inspection we already knew we had other issues in the basement. They provided a proposal to address the other issue. We had water penetration in the basement so installed a French drain, moisture barrier and sub pump. There were a few issues during the course of the project. They estimated it would take 4-5 days to complete. The technicians were professional and did a nice job. However, by the 5th day they were not sure they would be able to finish within the quoted time frame. I contacted the supervisor and let him know I was not happy with what I was hear. The next day they put more man power on the job and were still unable to complete the job. They had to come back another half day the following week to complete the service. The project management was lacking. There was some damage to the back yard and some of the grass was killed from the moisture barrier plastic they laid out, as well. The crew took a photograph of the damage to take back to the supervisor. The supervisor had the crew go buy grass seed to repair the damage. We were actually trying to sell the home at this time and this caused distressed for when we showed out home. I suggested compensation for the damage to the yard. I suggested $500 off the bill. He tried compromising at $300 if I paid the bill the same day. I was put off by this and then he backed off and went to his supervisor. They ended up taking the $500 off the bill and I did pay the same day."

"Our home has a partially finished basement and is on a grade.  We experienced a major flood in July and were looking for options on how to protect our home from further flooding - as well as a way to improve the quality of the air, etc in our basement.  I contacted all the big local waterproofing companies for quotes.  The reason I did this was not only price, but the configuration of our home and the problems we were having were somewhat unique - so I wanted to make sure we considered all the options, and this is not a job you want to do twice.  Tim from AccuDry was the first person we met.  Tim is very knowledgeable and friendly.  He came over and within 30 minutes had put together a comprehensive plan.  Our basement and crawlspace were a mess, and frankly, I was having a hard time envisioning what it would look like after the waterproofing.  Tim assured me that it would be great.  We liked what he had to say, but of course we wanted to get other opinions.  We met with half a dozen other "waterproofing" experts, some smaller ones and some of the big names you see around town every day.  I was shocked.  Some of them were fairly knowledgeable, but some of them had no idea what they were talking about.  None of them put together a comprehensive solution like Tim.  And, price wise, AccuDry was very competitive.  We were so impressed with Tim's experience and confidence in his plan that we went forward with AccuDry as our waterproofing contractor.  Tim brought in his guys - a small crew that have been working together for years - and Tim was also on the job working with them and supervising regularly.  They installed a complete interior drain system, including a gravity fed outlet, so we did not have to rely on sump pumps or electricity any longer.  The guys were very friendly and accomodating.  If you have water issues in your basement or crawlspace, you know that this work is not easy, nor is it always very pleasant.  Tim's crew enjoy what they do and take pride in doing it right.  And, they are very talented.  When you take on a job like this, there are a lot of little things that need to be done in the process - removing parts of walls, digging trenches through gardens, re-pouring concrete walkways, etc.  Tim's crew took these tasks in stride and handled them with ease.  They put in the extra time and material needed to make sure the job was done right, and cleaned up to the point that you would not know they had been there.  And Tim stuck to his original price - even though I am sure he ran over on labor and material from the original quote.  I don't think any other contractor would have taken the time and care to install our system in this manner.  In fact, many of the other proposals were more like bandaids than solutions ... and no one else was willing to put in the work required for a gravity fed system.  AccuDry did a fantastic job.  When it rains, I feel confident that our home is going to remains dry and clean.  We can already feel a difference in the air quality / moisture in the basement.  I would recommend AccuDry to anyone with a water problem in their basement.
