"Our main installer was Jesus, and he carefully explained each step of the work and then went over all the information we would need to know. We are very happy with all three items, saving electricity with the SolaTube as we no longer have to turn lights on during the day in our Master bath dressing area, we hope that the Solar attic fan is helping to keep the house cooler by exchanging the air in the attic when it gets hot. In our small home office we replaced an old skylight with new double glass skylight with a shade system and this has made a big difference in the office. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Service provider was on time, was professional and courteous.  They informed us the inspection would take 2 hours and we didn't have to come until the last 15 minutes, but my husband wanted to be there for the whole thing and see the inspection.  The inspector was very tolerant of my husband following him around for the inspection, questioning every single thing the inspector looked at, and answered all of his questions.  He was very thorough, there was no part of the house or property he did not inspect.  If there was something he could not inspect for one reason or another he made note of it and we were aware of it.  He provided the report via e-mail before the day was over.  The one and only thing I would have liked and did not receive was a printed color copy of the report.  I understand I was sent an electronic copy immediately and that was helpful, but I would have appreciated a printed color copy mailed to me a few days after the fact.  He took a million pictures, and I do not have a color printer, and much is lost in those pictures when they are printed black and white.  I understand I can go to an office supply and have a color copy printed, but it would be nice if they included one as part of the service.  But, if I buy any houses in the future I will use NPI again, I was very happy with their service and their price.  Thank you so much.
