"We had been putting off these jobs for too long, and were impressed with the cost estimate Matt provided.  His employees were prompt and friendly, and very considerate of other things going on in the house.  They came the first day, and rapidly crossed items off the to-do list.  The only issue I had was with communication.  At one point, work was scheduled to continue on a day that I specifically said was not an option.  All communication came in the form of google calendar updates, and I think I would have preferred a phone call.  After replacing the basement door and the insulation, Ben and Andrew cleaned the basement like it has never been cleaned before.  I don't think I would wait again for work to be done.  We'll just call Handy-Matt! <br />"

"We had a tree fall onto a portion of our roof during a severe storm.  This happened in the middle of the afternoon and we were not sure what to do.  We called Travis and in thirty minutes or so he was over with a tarp and had already called a tree company to remove the fallen tree!  They immediately covered the damaged section on our roof with a tarp to keep the inside dry and began the clean up on the inside where the tree came through the bedroom ceiling.  They handled all of the interactions with the insurance company very well, even going to bat for us on a few things.  They got right to work repairing the damaged section of the roof and in just a few days new shingles went up.  All of the other repairs went smoothly and they were the upmost professionals when things didn't go quite as planned!  This old house threw a lot at these guys but they showed some amazing problem solving skills and I think that is what we were most impressed with, how they made things happen!  The interior work was spot on and they were able to match the new repairs to the style of the rest of the home.  We are very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them or have them take on any future project for us! <br />"

They arrived exactly when they said they would and finished in about the time they said it would take (3 days, 1 to fix, 1 to sand and touch up, 1 to paint). They ended up charging slightly less than their original quote when the painting ended up being easier than expected. <br />"
