"We are absolutely in love with our new shower. We hired West Shore Homes to remove our existing tub/shower combo and replace it with a new shower. The installers Jordan and Tim were very customer oriented and technically skilled. They arrived per the schedule and completed the installation in a very reasonable amount of time. All while being courteous enough to answer all of our questions. The installation was very high quality, and included replacement of the existing drywall behind the shower with plywood sheets. This provided a rock solid backing for the acrylic material that we selected. Additionally, all of the components used were of stellar quality. As I indicated, we absolutely love the finished product and have no qualms about recommending West Shore Homes for this type of work."

"I hired Sam to replace the wooden posts and concrete footers supporting my deck and sun room. The job required placing temporary supports under the structures, pouring new concrete footers that came above the dirt line, and installing new wooden posts. I found Sam to be straightforward and honest in explaining what the job technically required, the costs of the work, and what the county would require for permitting. In addition, I encountered unresolved permit issues from the previous homeowner. These issues were unrelated to Sam, but the county refused to issue a permit and this delayed the work. Sam was very patient as I resolved those issues with the county. He even gave me advice on what I could expect from the county as I fixed the issues. Once Sam and his team started work, he made sure I understood the work as they went along. He answered any questions that I had; he explained problems his team found and how they would resolve them to adhere close to the estimate and abide by regulations. In short, Sam is a true professional and I enjoyed working with him. Iâ m very happy with the work his team completed and now I have confidence that my sun room and deck are properly supported for years to come."

"Brought these guys in when the job was half finished by a relative who had been at it for 3 1/2 months.  The estimate was that it would take four days - it did.  They came when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves each day.  They pointed out imperfections in the wall that would need to be fixed before they could do the job properly.  Other tilers had missed this detail.  All that is left is for the glass enclosurre to be installed and they recommended the right people for that as well.  They are great to work with, exhibit integrity and character, and the results will not disappoint you.  What's not to love!

"GBC Alexandria renovated my master bathroom. Fabian, the designer, patiently worked with me to realize my vision to enlarge the shower, increase storage, replace the soaking tub and to create a spa like feeling – while working within the limitations of a condo. Pretty much a full gut of the room. The crew that did the work, Omar and Wilmer did an excellent job and were very meticulous – clearly taking pride in their work. The project manager Selim quickly addressed any concerns I had throughout the process, and kept me informed throughout. The transformation to my master bathroom is amazing! "On the recommendation of a neighbor, my husband and I engaged Charles Graves Painting to paint our home's stucco and wood trim exterior. After a color consultation with Ana (she's incredibly helpful!), a power washing, and a few minor repairs, the painting began on September 10th. Our project manager was Ricardo. He was clear about everything that was planned and was responsive to our questions and concerns. Ask for him, you won't be disappointed. He's easy to talk with and very adept at what he does. Beside an excellent job of creating a silky smooth surface on our front and back entry doors, he did an excellent job replacing the kick plate under the back door. The other members of the crew were all friendly and they worked carefully to limit any damage to our numerous foundation plants. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. It was worth the cost and we would absolutely hire them again!"

They did a great job. We were told it would take 3 weeks to complete the project from the time the cabinets are received and they were right on target. They were professional, responsive, clean and timely. Jeff provided us with options but never pushed his ideas on us. He iis very knowledgeable and had great ideas. They produced a quality product and we could not be happier with our new kitchen. "Scope of work in our house built in 1950’s with low ceilings and small spaces: Gut and rebuild our kitchen and two bathrooms including the Master Bath. In addition, taking down a wall between our kitchen and the dining room (to create peninsula), removing a door between kitchen and the outside patio, and bricking to close this space., installing new window in the kitchen. Comments: We discussed with several contractors our project and after thorough consideration we decided to work with DMV of Gaithersburg, Maryland. The selling point for us to select DMV was a feeling of not being pressured to sign, being truly in charge of this project (not perceived when discussing with others) AND their flexibility in the design concept. We were not disappointed with our decision. Particularly, their flexibility meant that we could make changes "on the fly" if not satisfied or had new ideas. Importantly, unless those changes meant additional costs in materials or a significant change from the scope of work, there were no additional costs of labor to make these adjustments. As an example, we changed the color of paint three times in one bathroom (after painting was completed) to get the look we wanted. No problem and no additional cost to do this! Anyone who has renovated a kitchen or bath will likely tell you that no matter how much planning you do ahead of time, it cannot fully prepare you for what the finished product in your home will look like. DMV understands this and both their patience and flexibility with the homeowner is truly commendable. They also work closely with the glass company and custom-made great looking shower cabin in one of our bathrooms and a beautiful glass panel cover for the window inside the second shower cabin. Something we’ve been told by several other companies was not possible to execute. The end-products are not only beautiful, allowing daylight in our small bathrooms (which otherwise would be dependent on electric light only), but are also very functional. It's clear, DMV knows its craft well. We were provided a detailed timeline of the entire project. This was very helpful in understanding the timing of events for planning purposes. The schedule was reasonably followed although there were occasional delays due to timing of materials being delivered or having to wait for a damaged material to be replaced by the manufacturer (at no additional cost to us). Working team was always on time, polite, working hard, clean, and conscientious of us living in our home during the renovation. Javier, Jacinto and the rest of the team were wonderful to work with. DMV used only company employees and no contractors. We absolutely love our new kitchen and both bathrooms! Thank you, DMV! If we were to renovate again, DMV would be our first choice."
