"Arrived same day when he said he would. Checked septic tank, rooted out drains, went under house and saw the drain pipe had sagged at one spot so water was having to drain uphill. Rehung pipe and tested. Explained everything to my wife as they were doing it. Very friendly, professional and affordable. Pointed out a potential problem with the drain line where it exits the house but thought it was ok unless the house settled more. They even added more screws to the septic tank inspection lids. They were here for about two hours. Excellent, quick, honest, affordable service. I will do business with them in the future and appreciated the warning about the potential future issue with an approximate cost to fix it if it did become a problem. Call these guys first.

"Sergio arrived punctually and analyzed the materials he would need for the repairs. He went to a local near-by hardware store and purchased the necessary sheet rock, which I paid for as it was an extra item. In order to get at the damage, he had to pull off a large 4x4 section of peg-board that itself had been torn. We discussed what might be done to replace,the peg-board but made no decision at that time. I left him to do the work, but when I returned, he had removed the peg-board so carefully that it could be remounted and used again, over the now completely repaired and re plastered damage! He also had spied a crack in the garage ceiling that I had overlooked, and repaired it with tape at his own initiative! Impressive work! I would call upon D&R again for this kind of repair. They also do other kinds of construction work, such as replacing cracked sidewalk or worn driveways."

"These guys were amazing and so professional every step of the way. They had to dig down through ENORMOUS tree roots to get to the line and replace the pipes, all the while avoiding upper tree branches and other obstacles. They had gone down with a camera in the previous week, so they knew exactly what materials, equipment and permits were needed and executed the job brilliantly. They left the portion of the yard they had to excavate perfectly level with the rest of it and you couldn't even tell they had dug it up. They cleaned up everything immaculately, too! They were also SO kind and courteous and kept us informed of the progress and what they were doing. "I have used Mr. Rooter several times over the past few years.  Once, I tried to do something to a pipe under a sink that I really shouldn't have messed with, and I ended up with a gushing leak from the pipe.  I ran around finding buckets and bowls to catch the water, towels to sop up all the water that ended up on the floor, and a phone book to find a plumber.  I randomly picked Mr. Rooter because it had a big add that said they took emergency calls.  I called, and was pretty upset, and a plumber was dispatched immediately.  He called me while on the way to my house to see if he could help me to turn off the water, but I was pretty useless.  He arrived quickly and stopped the gushing water quickly  and fixed the whole problem quickly.  I don't remember how much that cost, because I was just happy he came so fast.
I have also used Mr. Rooter to purchase a new water heater and thermostat.  The plumber was courteous, and as far as I can tell he did a good job, but there was some question about the accuracy of some information he provided about the water heater, which has been a problem.  I can't comment on how good the price was, because I didn't comparison shop.
