"We noticed water pouring over gutters during hurricane Isaias and called Better Gutters thinking that they may need to be repaired. While there they noticed that the mesh gutter guards we had installed years ago to keep the gutters clean were overgrown with moss which was clogging the gutters. Scott suggested that we have the mesh removed and the gutters and downspouts cleaned. We had them do this and were completely satisfied with the work they did. They were professional, courteous and efficient. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would gladly recommend to others."

"We scheduled Jim to give us an estimate for replacing our 22-year-old roof - initially this was a planned repair but turned into an insurance claim when he found evidence of hail damage. He met the adjuster and made sure to point out the damage he'd seen,and the claim was approved. Jim provided his proposal quickly and stayed in touch frequently throughout the planning stages - eg., confirming our shingle choices, discussing scheduling. On the day work was to start, the crew showed up promptly and worked throughout the day to get as much done as possible before dark. Day 2 was unfortunately several days later due to weather, but the work was completed without problems. The new roof looks great, and more importantly, is holding up well through the first few winter storms. They also replaced several gutters, downspouts, and window screens that were damaged by the hailstorm. They will be back once the weather warms up to do strip and reprint the deck (also damaged by hail). Their price was about higher than the other estimate we got, but Jim went the extra mile to answer our questions, meet the insurance adjuster, etc., and we were very comfortable with him. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that they would need access inside the home to confirm that the skylights (two in one room and one in another) were installed properly - it was just luck that I was able to come home to let them in. Other than that little communication glitch, I was very happy with the work.

I received 2 estimates: 1 to replace the gutters & install gutter guards & 1 to just replace the gutters. Both were very fair estimates. I decided to get the new gutters & guards. His team of installers, Rob, Ryan & Martin did a great job of installing the new gutters & guards. They were very polite and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would recommend them. "Customer Svc (calling into the office for scheduling/ followup) huge pain. The scheduling process is tedious. They pummel you with a barrage of emails, texts, phone calls. Their price is double other reasonable specific providers vs local handyman providers. I went with these guys based on their claim they *fix/repair* any minor defects. My oversized gutters were new a few years b4 service. I cleaned the gutters myself up until Ned Stevens work. I thought the check and fix was a good decision. As a result of this work, I now have downspouts separating from the gutter that I cannot fix myself. I expected much more for $190. Their *deals* $7 off , 10% off offer no value in my opinion."

"We had a 5" gutter and the guards were not affected because we have a large Maple tree.  The guy that came to do the work said that we needed a larger gutter due to the roof overhang.  He sold us a 6" heavier gauge metal.  In talking with other people, two other providers said that the gutters are larger and heavier than what we needed.  I feel like we didn't need these upgraded gutters that he sold to us.
