"Philip was responsive and started the job more quickly than I expected. It took him a little longer than he initially estimated to me, but we requested special wood (a more ecologically produced pressure treated lumber) and so there was some time in getting and adjusting to the new materials. His crew worked hard and did not appear to cut corners anywhere. They clearly care about their work."

We needed our floors refinished before selling our 17 year old home. They had never been refinished previously and had lots of wear in the high traffic areas and were very sun faded in other areas. After contacting Scott, we only waited about a week for an appointment, they showed up on time,  and completed the work in two days. They covered vents, doorways and cabinets; there was minimal dust, they did a great job cleaning up afterwards, and there was minimal disruption during the process. Today the floors are beautiful and look like new. We are planning on building again when our house sells, and would definitely be happy to have them do the hardwood floors in our next home.

Galen and his crew arrived on time.  One worked on replacing dry wall and plastered the wall while the others cut out the tree branches and patched the roof.  They also replaced a cracked drain pipe and repaired the back porch roof.  They were all very courteous and professional. I was very pleased with their  excellent work and the cost of the work.

"V & J Contracting & Roofing was one of 8 companies that I contacted to get quotes to build a deck off my back porch to the pool we had installed in the fall the year before. Being the 1st time we needed to hire a professional to come in for a major build we were quite nervous. Jason came out to site the deck and take measurements. I felt good after meeting him personally. My wife and I were happy with the quote. Jason was very quick to return any call ore text I sent him. I was at work the week they worked on my deck and my wife was at home. Everyone there was considerate and treated my family nice. The deck come out beautiful and was exactly as we wanted. The only negative thing with the deck experience was something that was not in the control of any one and it was the rain that pushed the build back, however Jason was in contact with us and we were kept informed of this and all. My whole family enjoyed the deck all summer. We were happy built the price, the build and the crew themselves. When It is time for our next project Jason will be my 1st call."
