"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"Triage Bio Clean were very professional and considerate during the air duct cleaning of my house today. They were kind enough to let me know that the machines would be loud and might startle my six month old daughter. They were also very flexible with my schedule and were willing to come a half an hour later than I had previously asked them to come which I very much appreciated! Bill was also very prompt in getting back to me when I called (twice) to schedule and reschedule my appointment. They were very nice and hard working and did a great job cleaning up after they were finished. I would definitely use them again (although they are pricey), and they also do lots more cleaning services besides air duct cleaning."

"The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Chariton, IA

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
