"These guys were the best! Extremely professional and couldn’t be more friendly and easy to work with. They understand exactly what you are looking for and need, do excellent work, and get it done quicker than you would expect. The fence they installed is better than I imagined and I love going out in the yard every day with the dogs and seeing them run and play without worry. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat for any other project and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get a fence. A++ work and company"

"They were highly personable, professional, quick, and they did a very neat and clean job. I would recommend them without reservation if you need a basic wooden fence that is well built and nicely installed. Every part of the experience was actually pleasant....so rare!"

"The project went along very smoothly and I am extremely pleased with the end result.  The fence is beautiful and the deck is awesome.  Bradley Kemp was professional and courteous the entire process.  The crew was prompt and had a very strong work ethic; they worked efficiently to get the job done in a timely manner, and at the end of each day, they were very careful to keep the yard tidy.  Bradley insured the work was up to my satisfaction and corrected any concerns I had (slight rise in the fence and the step down from the back door to the deck).

I gave a B for the price, because it was a bit more than we were originally wanted to pay (that is when we first decided to build the deck we were thinking our max would be $8,000 and to not exceed $10,000).  Bradley's price was fair and given the materials we decided to go with, we were understood the cost of the deck was going to be the upper end of our budget.  The large scale of the job could have had more stress on my end, but I felt we hired the right company for the job so the extra cost then what we originally anticipated was money well spent.  The deck ended up costing $10165.24 and the fence $1300.00."

"Twisted Metal’s (Richard) work is outstanding, and the metal railings for my porch are of superior quality, custom made to fit in with the wrought iron already in place. Richard was willing to accommodate my schedule for installing the railings. I would rate his work at 10 out of 10. I highly recommend Twisted Metal for your project."

"Came to my residence, took measurements, contacted a metal fabricator to who also came to my residence to review the work needed ,made the door from aluminum and installed it. O'Dell contracting called me to follow up and tell me when job would be completed. This is a reliable contractor who kept in contact to let me know the date it would be installed. After the job was completed he contacted me to ask if the work was satisfactory.I would recommend this contractor for any home remodeling. He is to be graded as an A-1 Contractor."

"We read great reviews about this company on Angie's List, and thought it would be a no-brainer. The owner Les, was great. The workers, were not. Both bathrooms got new medicine cabinets. The walls all around them still have holes from the old fixtures/etc. It took from April until July to get our radiators connected again. The painting done is AWFUL. Some of the bathroom fixtures (such as the toilet paper holders, towel bars) are already pealing away from the walls because they weren't installed correctly. We had our kitchen done by another company - Commonwealth gave us a better estimate. Looking back, we should of stuck with the company that did our kitchen - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR."

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Charleroi, PA

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
