"Our project involved two steps; gutting and reconfiguring the master bath and a full guest bath- and transforming/utilizing a small bedroom space for increasing the size of our master bath and adding an upstairs laundry room. A detailed proposed budget was provided and discussed before any work was initiated. Emails and texts were answered quickly throughout the project. The work team was very courteous and straightened up the workspace each day. Once the gutting of the rooms and the reconfiguring/rough-in of the spaces were completed, Tom’s team moved in and turned the spaces into our vision. We wanted a causal spa-like feel with a neutral palate. Tile was installed in both bathrooms and the laundry room- flooring in all 3 rooms and tiling in two good-sized showers. Both showers included quartz-topped seats and thresholds which matched the vanity countertops and added a very nice custom touch. A tiled wainscoting was installed around the bathtub in the master bath and a backsplash was added above the sink in the laundry room. The tile work was impeccable!! Custom vanities and mirrors were built to fit the designated spaces- and the quartz countertops turned out beautifully. Tom & Kevin were helpful in the tile, vanity and quartz selections. Tom’s team also painted all the new spaces and installed crown molding in all the rooms which finished the look nicely. Even though we preferred simple lines, there’s no doubt the custom work added refined and lovely touches to our spaces. We highly recommend this company- you will not be disappointed."

"I giving five stars to a provider I did not hire. I was looking for someone to come out and sand down my quartzite countertop. It had not been sealed for three or four years and there were some stains and some water damage. I had hired someone to come out of few months ago to do the job. He cleaned and polished as best he could, but he could not take care of the damage to the quartzite so he suggested that I contact someone who had the proper tools to sand the countertop. Sam called me shortly after I submitted the request and we went over the details of the scope of the job. After listening to what I wanted to have done, he told me that he really did not want to take the job because sanding the quartzite countertops would probably do more damage to them. So here we have a contractor actually turning down work, being transparent, and providing his honest advice to a homeowner. I don’t know that you can ask for more than that from any contractor."

"Despite some project challenges including myself being remote and my inexperience with interior design, Jules (as I was asked to call her) held my hand through the entire process and made it completely painless! Every question I had was promptly answered and I was made to feel that my input was valued and reflected. I had some constraints, both budgetary and logistically, that Jules was able to handle effortlessly (or at least made it appear that way). As for the work itself, well I love my new apartment! Everyone who visits or sees photos gives me the nicest complements and insists on having Jules' contact information. I wanted mid-century modern and Jules found fantastic pieces at great prices. "One of the owners of this company, Geoff, and the representative of the company, Robert Ussery were unfailingly polite but refused to take responsibility for mistakes made by their employees. The installers broke a piece of granite, which was replaced, but does not match as well as the original to the rest of the countertops. They cut wires that it took two master electricians to figure out, took out plumbing parts that the plumber said were not necessary to remove and had to be replaced. I was told by Robert before the work began that they would remove and reinstall the cooktop and sink. When the work was done, they could not reinstall, causing me to hire a plumber and electrician as well as having the gas company reconnect the cooktop gas. They did not clean up after themselves and since they chose to cut the opening for the cooktop on site, there was considerable granite dust. The final product is satisfactory, but the process was exceedingly painful."
