"The TVs and Surround Sound systems were properly installed, so the job was completed as requested. The Good: David and the crew were very punctual and hard working. They spent the whole day working on the project and everything was working when they left. They even made arrangements to come out on a Saturday (at no additional charge) to accommodate my schedule. The Bad: The attention to detail was lacking. For just over $1500 to install 2 TVs and surround-sound speakers, I would have expected everything to be pretty flawless. Small items like sloppy drywall patching (I had to sand and skim coat all of the patches), dirty hand prints on the newly painted walls, and one of the TV's being about .25" out of level took away from the overall satisfaction with the project. I also felt that they could have been more creative with routing the power cord and Coax for the fireplace - the racetrack conduit did not look good, and ultimately, my wife and I came up with a way to run the cables behind the hollow brick that looked much better. In summary, the work was average, but for the price, I would have appreciated a little better finished product with less work on my behalf."

"Oscar was a very responsive and provided a thorough survey of the existing chimney.  He produced a quote while onsite.  The quote came in lower than another company previously provided, so I decided to go with Metropolitan.  Oscar was able to accept a 20% deposit via credit card on the spot.  He scheduled our work for the next week.  Two days prior, he called to confirm the installation date and arrival time.  The crew showed up on time and worked the entire day without issue.  Unfortunately it rained for the next few days, so no work was able to be done. The crew did show up again at 4P the day after it stopped raining, and then at 4P the next day to work some more.  Each day they were only able to complete a few things before shutting down.  I imagine this was a result of trying to fit in existing jobs that had to be fit in due to all the rain, but it would have been nice to receive a revised schedule.  The next day was a full work day and the work was complete.  The guys did a nice job cleaning up.  Oscar came by the next morning to show me close up pictures of the work and to collect the final money owed. Overall, I enjoyed working with Oscar.  He seems like a very honest man and I would trust his team to perform future work at our residence.

"Due to rotted wood, my mailbox fell down on a Friday. Around 5:00pm, I sent a note to Mailbox Xpress stating that I wanted to have a new Mailbox and a new post installed. My plan was to be added to their list of work for the following week. However, I received a call from Jimi that Friday night, and spoke with him again on Saturday, about the type of mailbox post that I wanted. Also, I sent Jimi a picture showing the color of both my house and the old mailbox post. I pointed out to Jimi that I had no expectations for him to install the mailbox that weekend. However, Jimi made my case a priority because my mailbox had fallen down. He matched the color of my house and installed the new mailbox that Sunday. And, it was a tough job getting the old concrete out of the ground. So, from a flyer left on my old mailbox 5-6 years ago, what did I get by contacting Mailbox Xpress? I got excellent customer service and excellent workmanship. The new mailbox with a new post is fine."

"William was prompt, courteous, and professional. Install of large a/c window unit went very well and looks fantastic. Old unit was disposed of along with cleaning up any debri. Also prior to leaving repaired a shed door handle no questions asked. Highly recommend and will not hesitate to use again in the future."

"The service went great. Two installers came out and completed the work in less than a day. They were very thorough and neat in their work. They had to move everything out of the garage and made sure to move everything back the way we liked. We have had no trouble at all with the system. We have been able to put it to good use and I feel like the quality of product is very durable. It brightens the garage space and makes everything so much nicer. We have not had to call in for any replacement parts. It was very easy to schedule the service, as well. I have recommended the company to others."

"Was very pleased with the company and service and would recommend. The person that came to measure didn't just measure but looked around and assessed the entire door. Our home is very old (1949) and we usually have issues when getting any work done so I appreciate how thorough the worker was. Stacy in the office is very friendly and contacted me after the measurement, provided brochures etc. I got a very quick estimate and once I agreed got a install date that was also very quick. The day of install the worker came about an hour early (see below) and was very professional and nice. He showed me some issues in the wood after taking down the old door, explained my options since we did not have an outlet for the opener, and explained why he was putting the inside remote where he was putting it because of the brick in the garage. Again very thorough. The entire work took a little under three hours and after he gave me a detailed walk through of what he did and how things worked. I loved the small business owner feel of this company - sincere. Very, pleased with everything and would most certainly recommend and/or use again. 

My only downside: The first day they were supposed to come out and measure between 7pm and 9:30pm and did not show. Now they did say in advance that they may not be able to make it, but would have liked a call. They made up for this by calling promptly the next morning to re-schedule and since I was available, they came same day. Second, was on the day of the install they were about an hour early. While I much rather be early than late, it would have been a concern if I didn't opt to take the entire day off instead. Like I said, for me, these were very minor but worth mentioning as full disclosure.

"Robert came to my house and inspected the roof and inside the attic. He explained what was going wrong with my roof and outlined my options for getting a new roof installed. He also showed me his company's credentials and their excellent ratings with various rating agencies. He gave me a quote and I was contacted to confirm the installation date. Robert and his crew showed up on time, worked really hard all day and had the new roof installed as well as the two new attic fans we had discussed installing. They cleaned up completely when they were done. Throughout the process Robert and his employees were all very professional, quick to respond to any questions and helpful in all ways. I recommend K & R Roofmasters highly and would use them again."
