"The best way for me to sum up my experience with Wells & Wells is simply. You are doing business with just genuinely good people. They take pride in their work, and their customer interactions. Our deck was destroyed by falling trees during the snowstorm in January. We had a regular wood deck and we thought the damage was extensive. After many contractors Wells was the only one that came by and provided an honest assessment. They didnâ t cut corners for cost purposes, they were just honest and real about what needed to be repaired. The not only repaired our deck, they almost completely rebuilt it. For all intents and purposes we now have a new deck. We were able to upgrade from wood to Trex (due to the current cost of lumber). The folks at Wells even told us about the cost differences in wood and Trex and provided professional advice in helping us upgrade. They never tried to price gouge us, they never took advantage. They arrived everyday on time and completed the work on schedule. Throughout the project they would check in to ask how I felt about their work as the project progressed, and they walked me through once it was completed. My wife and I were so impressed with their work that we will be contracting with them from other future projects to improve our home. Itâ s just great to know companies like this are still around."

"This was the second time that Dan Kirby worked on a paint job for me. Last year, he repainted the exterior of my house including re-glazing the windows. It was so well done that I think it helped to sell the house very quickly at a better than expected price. After I moved into my new residence, wallpaper needed to be removed from the kitchen and bath, including on the ceiling. Dan did an excellent job in the wallpaper removal and wall repair as well as the painting so that the walls look like new. Dan proved to once again be prompt in providing the estimate which was reasonable. As in the past, Dan was reliable in showing up on time every day, staying on schedule, and working diligently on the project. I am definitely planning on having Dan Kirby re-paint the rest of the house interior in the next few months. I highly recommend him for both exterior and interior jobs."

Always returned a phone call in a timely manner and provided any information that I needed. I had worked with her on a previous kitchen project and she continues to work well with clients. "Arthur Vandermark was very prompt, professional and friendly in responding to my phone calls to him with questions, for an estimate, and to start work. He provided my mother and I with very helpful advice on what work would be needed to improve the safety and condition of our deck, pointed out safety concerns we had not seen, and offered to do our project himself. Unlike some others, he did not suggest a full replacement, but practical corrective work that saved us a great deal of money and time. Each day during the 4 days of repairs, Mr. Vandermark was very prompt and helpful in describing the work to be done that day. He also accepted project expansions, explained issues, and checking work with me at the end of each day. We would highly recommend Vandermark Construction to anyone with an existing deck that needs repairs, replacements and/or improvements.
