No sales pressure at all or any other comments pressuring us to get one, but I felt it was time. Vinnie also came by with another worker to install the liner, took about 2.5 hours. Overall, a very positive experience. I did rate the price a "B" because I though it was a bit high but maybe that is the going rate. I did not shop around since there are only so many chimney companies out there and we had used Master Chimney Sweepers in the past. $558 for cleaning and $3240 for liner."

"I learned that the flues did not need cleaning, but that there was about 4 feet of flue lining that was missing from the top of the chimney--there are ceramic tiles in there and for whatever reason, 4 ft were missing from the top. They replaced this with a liquid/concrete/solidifying material to seal/line the flues"

Freddy and Rich came and they impressed me in pretty much all aspects, but the most of which is they are very honest and they know how to work with roofs. So, I chose them without much hesitation at all and convinced they would do a good job. The process leading to the installation day was very smooth, had to delay for a week because of the weather, Andrea did a fantastic job in communication. Materials delivered the night before, the crew came on time, they did a fantastic job peeling off the old shingles, installing the new shingles, replacing the gutter, and the cleanup, the entire crew are professional, efficient, courteous and they work as a team. All in all, I had a great experience, will use them again, and will recommend to my neighbors and friends."

"We just moved into a new house, and we called Bob's Magic Broom to come check out the chimney to see if it was safe to use. Carl came out and, after inspecting the chimney, told us we didn't need to get it swept since the previous owners hadn't used it and it was very clean. I appreciated his honesty when he certainly could have told me otherwise and I wouldn't have known the difference. He also checked out our very old furnace and let us know there was significant soot pileup which would need to be cleaned. Since we were planning to convert from oil to gas in a few months, he walked us through what the typical conversion was like, which was helpful. He also said we would likely need to cut a 2nd clean out door in our chimney to remove the soot, since the current door was not up to code, and we'd have to get it done anyway when we converted. He was very helpful and honest, and we will definitely use them when we convert in the spring."
