Also, because the electrician arrived more than an hour and a half late (he finally showed up about 5 minutes until 5pm), he told me he didn't know what the problem with the existing outlet was but he ends his day at 5 so he had no time to to look at it. Basically, he told me I could pay him to come back out to install the additional breaker box with a new outlet and then he would try to see what the problem might be."
