"Tyler and his crew have done multiple projects for our house, including a new roof, repairing drywall from a water leak, and replacing siding and soffit. They always treated us fairly, promptly and with respect. Tyler gave us a fair quote and was quick to finish all of the projects. He was awesome. Thanks Tyler."

"After dealing with a lot of obstacles ( none brought on by the builder) we have a beautiful home. Clark Builders have been patient through the entire process and the home is very high quality. We made changes from the original layout and they were very accommodating and gave us exactly what we asked for. We are very happy with Clark Builders."

"Superior Carpentry made our bathroom remodel a dream come true. They were ALWAYS on time, organized, trustworthy, skilled, professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and certainly a good listener. We’ve never had a contractor impress us more. He worked on our home like it was his own. He was a great communicator and would check in often with questions and concerns. He would often say, “If you’re happy, I’m happy.” We couldn’t recommend him more!! He’s worth the wait...."

"I recently bought a house in December and had a leak in my bedroom ceiling during the winter. I had 5 estimates from various and well known roofing companies in the area. Qualified builders beat them all. I usually don't go with the cheapest bid but I have a friend who lives in a upper end subdivision in Grand Blanc and used them and was very satisfied with their professionalism and work. I unfortunately had to have a complete tear down of the whole roof.....holes, missing shingels. Every company that came out said the same thing with many different and rising prices. I have a large home with over 3200 sq. feet of roof. Qualified started on a Wednesday and ended on Thursday. Many men working on the job got it done quick with very little mess. I was very impressed. They cleaned up any debri that blew into the other neighbors yard quickly and left my home looking clean and debri free. The roof looks great. They even replaced a downspout on the upper level of the house without charging any extra. Carl the owner was always very polite and kept me informed of the progress. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in a minute. My daughters are going to use them too."

"Jordan and his staff at Absolute Plumbing provided professional and innovative solutions to a problem that was significant to us but not yet an emergency. If they had not been as attentive and competent as they were, it is possible the issue could have become a major problem. We appreciate their attention and professional work. The cost was very competitive. I would not hesitate in calling them again for future plumbing jobs."

"My house was in a need of a major face lift. In preparation for the approaching cold months, and inevitably spending more time in doors, we wanted to make sure that all of our major updates were finished before the cold Michigan weather came sweeping in to spoil the summer fun. So naturally it was decided that the time had come to remove the awful wallpaper in the den and master bathroom! <br />  I met with four contractors, Elysium's bid was admittedly higher in price. However, based on their outstanding reputation and the detail and clarity that their estimator brought to the table we signed the contract. <br /> All of the work was completed as promised and within the given time frame. There were no nasty surprises when the materials invoice came and the ghastly wallpaper is gone for good. Looking forward to spending time in my updated den this winter, thank you Elysium for doing a great job! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Chesaning, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
