Friendly, polite and respectful. Price was as quoted and very reasonable for the service provide. Very flexible and even installed 1 additional ceiling fan for an additional fee. Worked thru a couple of challenges with bad parts supplied by the manufacturer with no problems, to get the job done. Good quality work, professionally done. Highly recommended."

"We have used The North Star Companies for several jobs in the past, with the most recent being the largest. We hired them do a complete renovation of our home in Severn. The job grew larger as demo began and turned into a job requiring the rebuild of exterior walls, demo of concrete slabs - basically the house had to be rebuilt from the ground up. We contracted with CRG Remodeling in May 2019 for a kitchen and powder room remodel in Washington DC, and ended up doing much more, including LR/DR/hallway painting, plumbing fixes, and an office remodel. I called his company to give me an estimate on replacing a front portico and after receiving his estimate and a couple more I realized I needed to put some more money aside. While he was there I asked if he could replaced my 32 year old deck boards and stairs.

I got an estimate for the deck which was more than reasonable and signed the contract.  Within two weeks his crew was at my house and finished the job in one day.  I asked if they could stain the deck and railings and he said it would be no problem. A couple of weeks later my deck was stained and again it was done in a day.  The deck staining was $560 extra but the old deck looks like new.

"The quality of work is excellent.  Unfortunately, their boss directed his crew to ignore the obvious tilt of this old house, and we had to insist that the top of the closet doors be parallel to the ceiling!  He also got surly when my husband and I insisted that we both see the end result before paying him.  I hope this guy reverts to the personality we saw a couple of years ago and leaves the current one behind.
