"Needed help installing a dryer vent through a brick wall... Didnt have the right tools to drill a 4 inch hole in bricks efficiently and decided to hire someone. I spent two hours trying to do this with minimal progress... told my wife I'd be laughing if the guy showed up and knocked it out in an hour. Franklin came out and drilled the hole for me in about 45 minutes for a reasonable price. He had all the right tools and made quick work of a task that would have taken me several hours and buying some new tools. Great work franklin!"

"This project required the installation of a new through-the-wall air conditioner/heating unit. The installer was knowledgeable, thorough, and his prices were competitive. In addition to completing the installation, the installer also offered important maintenance advise that will prolong the life of my new unit. "The TVs and Surround Sound systems were properly installed, so the job was completed as requested. The Good: David and the crew were very punctual and hard working. They spent the whole day working on the project and everything was working when they left. They even made arrangements to come out on a Saturday (at no additional charge) to accommodate my schedule. The Bad: The attention to detail was lacking. For just over $1500 to install 2 TVs and surround-sound speakers, I would have expected everything to be pretty flawless. Small items like sloppy drywall patching (I had to sand and skim coat all of the patches), dirty hand prints on the newly painted walls, and one of the TV's being about .25" out of level took away from the overall satisfaction with the project. I also felt that they could have been more creative with routing the power cord and Coax for the fireplace - the racetrack conduit did not look good, and ultimately, my wife and I came up with a way to run the cables behind the hollow brick that looked much better. In summary, the work was average, but for the price, I would have appreciated a little better finished product with less work on my behalf."

"Overall it went well. I was given an 11-1 window but the movers didn't arrive until 3. Once there, the three gentlemen worked efficiently. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend that the company invest in a newer truck and power tools for the movers. For that price, the need a great job. Moved a two bedroom apartment into a three bedroom home in just over 3 hours.

"MaryAnn O'Hara is the quintessential professional:  She arrives exactly when she says she will; she knows her business and what her services and products can and cannot accomplish; she gives prompt, exact estimates; and she ensures that her staff provides exactly what is promised.  And, she's a delight to work with. 

The refinishing process has a very strong chemical smell that quickly spreads throughout the house.  The refinisher did everything he could to mitigate dust and smell, but it was difficult to control it all.  The first day it was very unpleasant; the second day, we opened all the windows while he was working and turned up our air conditioner fan to high, which dissipated the odor fairly effectively.  By the next day, the odor was gone completely. 

It was well worth the temporary odor.  The room is literally transformed.  We are very pleased and are already planning to do the same to our other bathroom this fall. "

"Oscar was a very responsive and provided a thorough survey of the existing chimney.  He produced a quote while onsite.  The quote came in lower than another company previously provided, so I decided to go with Metropolitan.  Oscar was able to accept a 20% deposit via credit card on the spot.  He scheduled our work for the next week.  Two days prior, he called to confirm the installation date and arrival time.  The crew showed up on time and worked the entire day without issue.  Unfortunately it rained for the next few days, so no work was able to be done. The crew did show up again at 4P the day after it stopped raining, and then at 4P the next day to work some more.  Each day they were only able to complete a few things before shutting down.  I imagine this was a result of trying to fit in existing jobs that had to be fit in due to all the rain, but it would have been nice to receive a revised schedule.  The next day was a full work day and the work was complete.  The guys did a nice job cleaning up.  Oscar came by the next morning to show me close up pictures of the work and to collect the final money owed. Overall, I enjoyed working with Oscar.  He seems like a very honest man and I would trust his team to perform future work at our residence.
